From wearing masks to maintaining distance, India opened its religious places in several states. Devotees flocked to the temples, churches, mosques and gurudwaras to offer their prayers...but in a new way.

Kalka Ji Temple in Kalkaji area of New Delhi has marked spots for people to stand and kneel at, to maintain distance from each other.



Devotees visiting Sharana Basaveshwara Temple in Kalaburagi to offer prayers have to sanitize their hands before entering.



Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple) in Amritsar is being disinfected at regular intervals through sanitizing sprays.


Shivaji Nagar, Benagluru

Devotees visiting Saint Mary’s Church in Shivaji Nagar in Bengaluru are urged to sit on separate benches.


Sri Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, Delhi

Visitors have to go through a disinfectant tunnel before entering Sri Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in Delhi.
