Cannes 2021: Helen Mirren, Jessica Chastain, Adam Driver and others sashayed down the red carpet

After the unfortunate cancellation of the iconic event last year, the much anticipated Cannes Film Festival is back with its 74th edition. From Jodie Foster and Marion Cotillard to Adam Driver and Andie MacDowell, stars put their best fashion foot forward as they sashayed down those legendary red carpeted stairs. To celebrate fashion and films! Find out who wore what on the opening night of the festival that celebrates films and fashion in equal measures.

Jodie Foster is this year's Lifetime Achievement Award winner at Cannes. The two-time Oscar-winning actress kept it simple yet classy in a column dress and drop earrings. 


Marion Cotillard

Her movie 'Annette' premiered at the festival today and Marion Cotillard made sure to make heads turn in her one-shoulder, metallic gown with peplum around her waist.

Former supermodel Carla Bruni went for a sequin one-shoulder gown and looked every bit the diva she is. 


Candice Swanepoel

Supermodel Candice Swanepoel gave her red carpet look a modern twist by turning up in a deep-neck, fringe-sleeved jumpsuit. 


Helen Mirren

Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren ditched the tried-and-tested red carpet colours and went for a bright yellow instead. She teamed her mid-length, flowy dress with statement jewelry.
