Story highlights

After rumours suggested that Varun Dhawan had stepped away from No Entry 2 following Diljit Dosanjh’s reported exit, producer Boney Kapoor has now set the record straight.

The much-anticipated sequel to the 2005 hit No Entry made headlines recently after reports claimed that Varun Dhawan had opted out of the project due to scheduling conflicts, following the earlier exit of Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh. The two stars were said to be joining Arjun Kapoor in the Anees Bazmee directorial, produced by Boney Kapoor.

However, Boney Kapoor has now denied these reports, confirming that Varun remains part of the film. In an interview, the producer clarified, “We are making No Entry Mein Entry, and Varun and Arjun are very much in the film. We are in active discussions to lock our other hero and the rest of the cast.”

Earlier reports had attributed Varun’s alleged exit to scheduling conflicts with Bhediya 2, claiming that his dates were locked and that the makers were figuring out “new combinations.” Boney statement, however, puts those rumours to rest.
