"Going forward, the effort is to develop an international framework... to deal with this problem," he said.

The United States has not "suggested outright banning of crypto activities, but it is critical to put in place a strong regulatory framework," U.S. Treasury Secretary Yellen told Reuters on the sidelines of the G-20 meeting. "We are working with other governments."

Before Fan, Seazen Group Ltd vice-chairman Qu Dejun was reported to have been unreachable. It was revealed that Dejun was cooperating with authorities concerning an investigation into the Dalian Wanda Group, where he previously worked.&nbsp;

For years, high-profile Chinese executives have gone missing with little explanation amid an anti-corruption campaign spearheaded by President Xi Jinping. A report by the news agency Reuters on Sunday said that in 2015 alone, &nbsp;at least five executives became unreachable without prior notice to their companies.&nbsp;

These included billionaire Guo Guangchang, the chairman of the Fosun Group. Guangchang had vanished from public view in connection with a probe by authorities, before re-emerging days later. His disappearance seemed to violate the trust between the government and top Chinese business leaders whose hard work fuelled China to become the world's second-largest economy.&nbsp;

Some of the major tycoons targeted under Xi Jinping's rule recently include Jack Ma, Xiao Jianhua and Mao Xiaofeng.&nbsp;

A popular formula brand has recalled two batches of its baby formula in the US citing contamination. British consumer goods company Reckitt said that it is recalling two batches of its plant-based baby formula "out of an abundance of caution", even though the samples tested negative for contamination. There have been no reports of any adverse effects from the baby formula in question till now, Reckitt said.&nbsp;

The baby formula in question is Enfamil ProSobee Simply Plant-Based Infant Formula and two batches, or approximately 145,000 12.9-ounce cans of the formula have been recalled.

What are the concerns over the baby formula?

Reckitt fears that there might have been a possible cross-contamination with Cronobacter sakazakii. It is a naturally occurring bacteria sometimes found in powdered milk and baby formula. According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Cronobacter infections in infants can prove to be deadly.

Reckitt said that the recall was initiated despite the samples testing negative as it was concerned about a "material from a third party". The supplier in question no longer provides materials to the formula brand.

"The health and safety of infants is our highest priority. All of our products undergo rigorous and industry-leading quality tests, and checks to ensure that they meet or exceed all standards set by regulatory bodies, including the World Health Organization and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration," Reckitt said in a statement.

 
How to identify the baby formula?

Reckitt says that the concerned batches have the numbers ZL2HZF or ZL2HZZ at the bottom of the cans. The UPC Code of 300871214415 is on both batches with a "use by" date of March&nbsp;1 24. However, ProSobee Simply Plant-Based Infant Formula batches remain unaffected. People have been urged to either throw away the baby formula cans or return them to the store.

The credentials which have been acquired by the hackers include those of major companies like Amazon, Apple, Alibaba, Huawei and more.

Bloomberg reported that both, GDS and STT GDC said that data breach did not pose threat to their clients' systems.

Nevertheless, the data breach has highlighted the risks companies face when they depend on third-parties for their data and IT equipment.&nbsp;

“This is a nightmare waiting to happen,” said Michael Henry, former chief information officer for Digital Realty Trust Inc. as quoted by Bloomberg.

“If they can achieve that, they can potentially disrupt communications and commerce on a massive scale.”

Hackers hack data centres in Asia, get credentials of major companies

A Google senior manager recently fired as part of the tech giant's cost-cutting measure seeks to start his own business within six weeks. Six other former Google employees who were also let go similarly are helping to support the man, Henry Kirk.

One of the 12,000 employees let go by Google was Kirk, who spent eight years working there.

Kirk now targets to build his own design and development studio in New York and San Francisco in six weeks, along with his team.

Why six weeks? Because Krik wants to set up the new company before Google's 60-day layoff notice window ends.

Kirk said in a LinkedIn post narrating his story, "I have 52 days left. I need your help."

"Today, I'm taking a leap forward and turning this tragedy into an opportunity. I'm teaming up with 6 outstanding #xooglers to shape and own our futures. But there's one catch…my partners and their families have given me just 52 days to get this going and land projects, or we must go back to job searching. I am determined not to fail, so I need your assistance," he wrote in a LinkedIn post

Wipro has said that the salaries of these candidates will be cut down from Rs 6.5 lakh per annum to Rs 3.5 lakh. In an email to candidates, the company said, “Like others in our industry, we continue to assess global economies and customer needs, which factor into our hiring plans... Thank you for completing the Velocity training programme successfully. Currently, we have certain project engineer roles available for recruitment with an annual compensation of Rs 3.5 lakhs.”

Air India on a hiring spree with one role paying as much as Rs 2 crore

Japan's manufacturing activity shrank at its fastest pace in two-and-a-half years in February, according to a business survey. The 'au Jibun Bank' flash Japan Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), a leading economic indicator, fell to a seasonally adjusted 47.4 in February from a final 48.9 in the previous month. The methodology shows 50 divided growth from contraction.
