To defend the zoo's decision, Annike Troselius, a spokesperson, said that the animals had to be put down because there was not enough tranquiliser&nbsp;to subdue all of them.

She said that the zoo workers are not allowed to work in close with the chimpanzees.&nbsp;

Visitors and journalists present at the site were urged to get back to their cars, close their windows and go back home.&nbsp;

The zoo further urged residents to stay indoors, lock their doors and windows and avoid going out.&nbsp;

The Swedish zoo is currently closed and investigating how the animals were able to escape. It is the only primate research centre in the region.&nbsp;

Troselius said, "We are taking this very seriously indeed. Safety is very important to us and our first focus is to make sure no one gets hurt. Then of course we will investigate this so that it can never happen again."

The current GM recall is an extension of the one done in November.&nbsp;

Recently, Japanese automobile manufacturer Subaru on December 14 recalled over 270,000 vehicles over high combustion risk. The company had&nbsp;asked owners to park their cars far away from homes and not use them if they see any smoke coming from the dash.&nbsp;

Previous research hypothesised that female snakes were having scent glands, under-developed versions of penises. However, the new study has ruled out such theories by offering a complete description of 'clitorises.'

In a study published in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B, the authors wrote, "Female genitalia are conspicuously overlooked in comparison to their male counterparts, limiting our understanding of sexual reproduction across vertebrate lineages."

The term 'hemiclitoris' first originated in 1995 when German herpetologist Wolfgang Boehme described the first female sex organs. Till the 1800s, it was known that squamates have dual sex organs called 'hemipenis."

The team dissected 10 snakes from nine different species including python and Mexican moccasin.&nbsp;

They found a snake with two individual clitorises-- hemiclitoris&nbsp;separated by tissue and hidden skin underside of its tail.&nbsp;

The new study suggests that clitorises may be common in squamates including snakes, and plays&nbsp;an essential role in reproduction. However, very few researches have been conducted on this for mammals including humans.

The new study comes following human research earlier this year that claimed that a human clitoris has between 1,100 to 9,850 nerve fibres which means 20 per cent more than what was cited earlier.&nbsp;

He added, "More and more students are learning Chinese. As President Xi Jinping says, language is the best key to understanding a country."

A report by English.gov in 2021&nbsp;claimed that there were over&nbsp;25 million foreigners learning Chinese and over 200 have already learned it.&nbsp;

Who is SBF?&nbsp;

The&nbsp;30-year-old&nbsp;began his career as a trader at Jane Street and eventually amassed a crypto empire.&nbsp;SBF studied Physics at MIT, and after joining Jane Street, in 2017, he learned about cryptocurrencies and began using his expertise in the market. In his early days, he started by purchasing bitcoin in the US and used to sell them in Japan, a minimum price of at least 10 per cent due to price difference. &nbsp;

In&nbsp;2017, SBF established his own cryptocurrency trading firm 'Almeda Research,' which offers liquidity in exchange for digital assets and cryptocurrencies.&nbsp;Two years later, in 2019, he launched FTX, turning it to be one of the top exchanges for buying and selling cryptocurrency derivatives. After a gap of seven decades, a 90-year-old woman in the US has finally received her Bachelor of General Studies degree from Northern Illinois University (NIU). Joyce DeFauw, then Joyce Viola Kane, began her studies in 1951, intending to major in home economics.

The 42-year-old woman charged with the murder of two children found dead in suitcases in Auckland, identified as their mother has pleaded not guilty.&nbsp;

The hearing was held on Wednesday (Dec 14), where the accused was not present but her lawyer filed for pleas on her behalf.&nbsp;

The court case was adjourned to a review hearing on March 8 at 9 am, the Guardian reported.

The woman was extradited from South Korea in late November. The authorities further claimed to have handed over unspecified important evidence for the legal proceedings.&nbsp;

Both women and children are covered under strict suppression&nbsp;orders which prevent the publication of names or any other identifying details. &nbsp;

The dead bodies of children aged five to 10 years were discovered by a family in Auckland in suitcases which they purchased from an online auction.&nbsp;

During the investigation in Seoul, she said, "I didn't do it."

According to information provided by South Korean police, the woman was born in South Korea and later moved to New Zealand and gained her citizenship. It further stated that she shifted back to South Korea a few years later.&nbsp;

New Zealand 'suitcase murders': 42-year-old mother charged with killing two children pleads not guilty

Google has a "moral obligation" to stop a democracy protest song appearing in search results,&nbsp;Hong&nbsp;Kong's leader said Tuesday, as row over China's national anthem widened to include the tech giant.

Hong&nbsp;Kong&nbsp;officials have been infuriated by a series of mistakes at international sporting events in recent weeks when a protest song has been played instead of China's national anthem for the city's athletes.

Their ire has increasingly focused on Google after it emerged that the protest song "Glory to&nbsp;Hong&nbsp;Kong" routinely appears at the top of the page when people search for&nbsp;Hong&nbsp;Kong's anthem.

City leader John Lee told reporters on Tuesday that Google should ensure China's national anthem -- which the city's athletes compete under -- comes at the top of the search page.&nbsp;

"If any company is in anyway responsible, it has that moral obligation," he said.&nbsp;

Lee's comments came a day after&nbsp;Hong&nbsp;Kong's security chief Chris Tang said Google had refused to change the search results, something he said was an issue of "great regret".&nbsp;

According to Tang, a former police chief, Google said its search engine results were governed by an algorithm, not human input.

Both Tang and Lee have countered that Google has been willing to amend search results to abide by local laws, including privacy laws in the European Union.

Lee said his administration would reach out again to Google to pursue the matter.

Google has not yet responded to requests for comment.

China's national anthem is "March of the Volunteers", a rousing song born out of the Communist Party's struggle to liberate the country from Japanese occupation.

"Glory to&nbsp;Hong&nbsp;Kong" was penned during huge protests that swept&nbsp;Hong&nbsp;Kong&nbsp;in 2019 and became hugely popular within the city.

It is now all but illegal to sing the song or play its melody under a sweeping national security law that was imposed to crush those protests.

"There are ways to do it," Lee added.
