Billionaire and X owner Elon Musk appeared to have forgotten the name of his own company which he had rebranded after taking over and is now known as X instead of Twitter. Musk was mocked by the netizens when he shared a post in which his social media platform was called Twitter and not X. Even after the rebranding, many users continue to call the social media platform by its old name and now with even Musk calling it Twitter, the success of the rebranding is under question. Elon Musk's historic rebranding of Twitter In October 2022, the billionaire took over Twitter in a $44 billion deal and rebranded the social media platform as "X" in a controversial but major move which received a lot of disapproval.
People who have a good height remain at greater risk of developing cancer, as per a new study.

The World Cancer Research Fund stated that there is evidence that hints at taller people having more chance of getting cancer like the pancreas, ovary, prostate, kidney, skin (melanoma), breast (pre- and post-menopausal), large bowel and uterus (endometrium).

The UK Million Women Study has discovered that in 15 out of the 17 cancers investigated, taller people were found more likely to have them.

In the study, it was found that every ten-centimetre increase in height also increased the chances of getting cancer by around 16 per cent.

The scientists found that the relationship between height and cancer existed across income levels and ethnicities.

How height is linked with cancer?

One reason why taller people are more likely to get cancer is because they have more cells.

For example, there is a longer large bowel in a tall person with more cells which increases his/her chances of large bowel cancer.

According to scientists, cancer develops because of an accumulation of damage in the genes which occurs in a cell when it gets divided and creates new cells.

The more a cell divides, the more it faces the risk of genetic damage which gets passed onto the new cells.

The higher the amount of damage accumulated, the higher the chances of developing cancer.

According to some research, the higher amount of cells in tall people is the reason why they develop cancer, a theory which also explains why men have more chances of getting cancer than women.

Another reason can be a hormone called insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) which may be leading to cancer.

This hormone helps in the growth of children and plays an important role in pushing cell growth and cell division in adults.

The bodies need to produce new cells when old ones get old or are damaged. However, when IGF-1 levels turn higher than average, they suffer a higher risk of developing prostate or breast cancer.

Kurdish astrophotographer Darya Kawa Mirza claimed to have clicked the clearest photo of the moon which revealed some unprecedented surface details of the natural satellite. The image, which was captured after four days of continuous observation, showed the topography of the moon in stunning clarity and revealed never-ever-seen features. The photograph was described by Mirza as the "clearest and sharpest Moon image" ever captured by him after four days of continuous observation and shooting. Social media users generally expect the algorithm to read their area of interest and give similar suggestions. But that may not be the case with X. X owner Elon Musk tried to explain why completely unrelated content may appear on the timeline of the social media platform. One of the strongest signals is if you forward X posts to friends, it assumes you like that content a lot, because it takes effort to forward. Unfortunately, if the actual reason you forwarded the content to friends was because you /were outraged by it, we are currently not smart enough to realise that." I couldn't find the meme by typing what it was on 𝕏 search, but when I asked Grok about the same meme, it quoted posts using the meme. Grok's explore feature has been exceptional. Now I want elements of it included in search results somehow," said another user. "Can we all agree that THIS is the exact reason that we need a dislike button? If Likes are hidden, we can hide Dislikes, but at least the algorithm can assume that if we share something but dislike it, then we don't like it and we don't have to see more.....," wrote a third user. "The X algorithm was amazing in December of 2022 and June of 2023. That was the pinnacle of greatness. It’s been downhill since then for a few reasons. Right now, it’s the least effective it’s ever been. It was pretty good about a month ago, too," commented another user. (With inputs from agencies)
