<p>Hollywood actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, who played the iconic role of Mariette in the classic '90s TV series 'The Darling Buds Of May', recently revealed that not playing James Bond on the silver screen is the biggest regret of her career spanning over three decades. Even though she was really close to making her dream come true, it couldn't materialise due to various reasons.</p>

<p>The Oscar-winner recently spoke to The Sun and claimed that former 007 Sean Connery even backed her to replace him as the all-action spy but for some unknown reasons, she didn't get to play Bond. Sean and Catherine reportedly became close after sharing screen space in the 1999 crime caper 'Entrapment'.</p>

<p>"I would have loved to have played Bond. I had such a wonderful relationship with Sean Connery - we did a movie called 'Entrapment' years ago - and he was like my elder brother, my dad, my support. I really loved him," she told The Sun on Sunday.</p>

<p>"I am a Bond fanatic and he said to me once, 'You would have made a great Bond, girl'. I asked, 'A Bond girl or Bond?' He went, 'Bond - girl.' I said, 'Oh my gosh, I would have loved to have played Bond!' But I think that time has passed," Catherine shared.</p>

'Wednesday' star Catherine Zeta-Jones reveals her biggest acting regret: 'I would've loved to play Bond'

<p>Jenna Ortega, who played the iconic role of Wednesday Addams in Netflix's coming-of-age supernatural comedy horror series, appeared on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' on Friday. Flaunting her new punk rock hairstyle in a dark amber colour along with a metal corset from Dolce and Gabbana, the actress grabbed eyeballs during the candid and fun chat.</p>

<p>With the iconic corset belt from the brand's fall 2007 collection, the diva wore a black see-through shirt with a white mega collar, matching cuffs and an oversized black necktie.</p>

<p>For her makeup, she opted for kohl-rimmed eyes, lots of mascara and a nude lip shade. To complete the look, she opted for&nbsp;a pair of Aminah Abdul Jillil black platform stilettos.</p>

According to the auction house, the mechanical model was sold for a whopping $2.5 million.&nbsp;And, bidding for the iconic creation of Italian special effects master Carlo Rambaldi had opened at $500,000.</p>

<p>The item, which was sold as part of a two-day mega-sale that included over 1,300 props ranging from Chris Hemsworth's Thor hammer to Robert DeNiro's Raging Bull boxing gloves, is regarded as an engineering masterpiece.</p>

<p>The filming model was operated by 12 professional animators and its&nbsp;movements, including facial expressions, nose, eyes, mouth, lids movement, neck movement, shoulders, arms, hands, fingers, chest and abdomen rotations, were controlled by&nbsp;a combination of cables connected to electronic apparatus and mechanical elements.</p>

<p>"Pre-dating modern CGI technology and effects, this one-of-a-kind cinematographic relic (constructed in 1981) features 85 points of movement and is regarded as an engineering masterpiece," the description of the model reads.</p>

While defending himself, he said that the conservatorship was a necessary intervention which not only saved the 41-year-old from her darkest days but also rescued her fragile relationship with her kids.</p>

<p>"Not everybody's going to agree with me," Jamie said. "It's been one hell of a time. But I love my daughter with all my heart and soul. Where would Britney be right now without that conservatorship? And I don't know if she'd be alive. I don't."</p>

<p>"I believe that the suspension is in the best interests of the conservatee. The current situation is untenable," the judge said.</p>

<p>At the time, Britney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, had argued in court that her father is "a cruel, toxic, abusive man" and said that it was long past time to remove him from the conservatorship.</p>

<p>Alidoosti, who is best known for her role in the Oscar-winning 2016 film 'The Salesman', had&nbsp;condemned the execution of Mohsen Shekari for his involvement in the protests. She shared a statement in a now-deleted Instagram post.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On November 9, Alidoosti posted an image in support of the protest. She posed without a headscarf, holding a placard that read, "Woman, life, freedom."</p>

<p>Thousands of people have been detained since the protests erupted in September and 400 have received jail sentences of up to 10 years for their involvement in the unrest. Many have been given death sentences too.</p>

<p>Megan Thee Stallion’s former bodyguard Justin Edison, who is a key witness in the case against rapper Tory Lanez, has reportedly vanished ahead of his scheduled appearance in court, her attorney said.</p>

<p>In the ongoing assault trial against Tory for allegedly shooting Megan in the foot in 2020, Justin seems to have some important information which Megan's attorney wants the jury to hear. However, it seems that the former member of the 27-year-old's security squad is nowhere to be found.</p>

<p>"We recently learned that Justin Edison went missing right before he was scheduled to appear in court," the attorney, Alex Spiro, told TMZ on Saturday.</p>

<p>Alex added that the LAPD is "currently looking into his disappearance,"&nbsp;however a spokesperson for the department debunked the claim and told The Post that a missing person’s case has not been opened yet for Justin.</p>
