Any objective served by the pre-approval provision has been served," said Musk's lawyer. One of the largest studies of its kind published in the British&nbsp;Journal of Sports Medicine has shown that regular exercise with weights can lower the risk of premature death.

The research found that those who did 'regular' weightlifting had a 14 per cent lower risk while those who met the aerobic activity levels had a 32 per cent lower risk of premature death.

The study also added that adults who reported meeting the aerobic activity guidelines and weightlifting at least one or two times every week were found to have a 41 per cent&nbsp;to 47 per cent&nbsp;lower risk of premature death.

To arrive at the numbers, US’s National Cancer Institute in Rockville, Maryland examined the research data from almost 100,000 US adults that took part in the study, spread across more than nine years.

Reportedly, the study took participants who had an average age of 71 and asked them about the kind of exercise regimen they partake in. While 23&nbsp;per cent reported having been involved in weightlifting, 16 per cent said they used weights at least one time to six times a week.&nbsp;

Over&nbsp;the next 9.6 years of the study, more than 28,447 deaths were reported with the researchers observing that participants who did weightlifting&nbsp;had a 9 per cent&nbsp;lower “all-cause mortality risk”

The researchers stated that using weights in a workout can make a body leaner as total lean mass is independently associated with a lower risk of premature death.

According to studies, the BA.4 and BA.5 subvariants currently make up nearly 90 per cent&nbsp;of all new cases in the&nbsp;US. If the bivalent&nbsp;booster is authorised by the FDA, it will need to clear one last hurdle of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP), which is USA's main federal health agency.&nbsp;

Asked why Macron had been chosen for the honour ahead of other US allies, Jean-Pierre said "we deeply value our relationship with France."

The link between the two countries is "founded on shared democratic values, economic ties, and defense and security cooperation," she said.

Relations between Paris and Washington hit a major crisis last year when Australia abruptly announced it was ditching a contract to buy conventional French submarines in favour of a US nuclear-powered submarine deal.

The US-Australia deal was part of the newly launched AUKUS security partnership, also including Britain, which Washington sees as part of its strategy to contain China in the Asia-Pacific region.

However, the French government was furious, accusing Australia of "lying" and recalling its ambassadors to Canberra and Washington.

However, tensions have since smoothed over, with Macron emerging as a key European partner for Biden in the response to Russian President Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine and the unprecedented Western effort to help Ukrainian troops.

LinkedIn is a wonderful and rather unique platform for prospective employees to show their skills to employers. Taking such an approach a notch above, a woman named Karly Pavlinac Blackburn printed her resume on&nbsp;a cake and sent it to Nike.

Reportedly,&nbsp;Blackburn&nbsp;was recently laid off from a marketing job and was fishing for new opportunities but to no avail. However, during the job search, the North Carolina resident stumbled upon Nike's startup incubator for ideas called 'Valiant Labs'.&nbsp;

While the particular vertical was not hiring anyone, Blackburn still decided to let the team know who she was. The Nike team was reportedly celebrating its&nbsp;JDI day (Just Do It day) when Blackburn sought to use the opportunity.

After consulting with a former colleague, Blackburn ordered the cake from&nbsp;Albertsons Grocery Store which makes cakes with edible picture images.&nbsp;Denise Baldwin was assigned for the delivery and she instantly understood the gravity of the project she was undertaking.&nbsp;

"I had told her [Blackburn] on the phone when I was at security, 'Don't worry, I'm going to make sure that this gets to the right person for you because I know how important this is for you, and that means that it's important for me,"' said&nbsp;Baldwin.

Baldwin kept her word and delivered the cake. As proof of delivery, she even took a picture of an employee at Nike's Valiant Labs, holding the cake.&nbsp;

World Trade Organization (WTO)&nbsp;Director-General&nbsp;Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has given a rather gloomy outlook on the global economy. In her opening statement at WTO's annual public forum in Geneva,&nbsp;Okonjo-Iweala stated that the world may be 'edging' into recession.

Her views echoed the similar warning some days ago by World Bank. The global lender on Tuesday also slashed growth prospects for Asia, citing concerns about slowdown in China.

"Now we have to weather what looks like an oncoming recession. I think a global recession. That's what I think we are edging into. But at the same time, we have to start thinking of the recovery. We have to restore growth," said the WTO chief.&nbsp;

With most central banks across the globe taking a hawkish approach and hiking the interest rates to beat inflation, the former Nigerian finance and foreign minister said the banks were in a tough spot.&nbsp;

"Central banks don't really have too much of a choice but to tighten and increase interest rates but the repercussions on emerging markets and developing countries is quite severe, because they too are tightening an increase in interest rates," she said.&nbsp;

Her statement comes less than two weeks after World Bank also provided a similar assessment. As reported by WION,&nbsp;World Bank President David Malpass gave a bearish outlook. "Global growth is slowing sharply, with further slowing likely as more countries fall into recession," said Malpass, adding&nbsp;that these trends would persist, with devastating consequences for emerging market and developing economies.

The entire continent of Europe is scurrying around to gather fuel as the winter season approaches while America battles inflation that has broken records, set more than 40 years ago.&nbsp;

Reportedly, UK's Central bank will soon reveal the image of the monarch that will be put up on the&nbsp;&nbsp;£5, £10, £20 and £50 notes.&nbsp;

"His Majesty’s portrait will appear on existing designs of all four polymer banknotes&nbsp;(£5, £10, £20 and £50). This will be a continuation of the current polymer series and no additional changes to the banknote designs will be made,"&nbsp;the British central bank said in a statement.

"New notes will only be printed to replace worn banknotes and to meet any overall increase in demand for banknotes," it clarified.&nbsp;

While King Charles III will come up on the new polymer notes, the&nbsp;BOE has also announced that by September 30, about £6 billion in old £50 notes and more than £5 billion in old £20 notes will no longer be recognised by UK businesses. There are more than 360 million notes in all that will be taken out of circulation.

In future, the synthetic notes will also be replaced to enable the distribution of notes carrying the image of King Charles III and to gradually phase out notes bearing the image of the late Queen.

So far,&nbsp;£100 million&nbsp;worth of the notes have been deposited at Post Office branches. However, with the deadline fast approaching, the Britons worry that there isn't sufficient time to replace the paper notes.&nbsp;
