<p>In its initial statement, the Pahang Fire &amp; Rescue Department stated that it received an alert at 4:55 PM. Firefighters arrived around 5:00 p.m. and got the fire under control by 6:30 PM. The fire began on the second storey and spread to the fourth.</p>

<p>Social media users posted images and videos of the structure with fire and plumes of black smoke destroying at least one side of the building.</p>

<p>For the study, 48 test subjects were divided into two groups: one that was examined in a sleep laboratory with normal ambient pressure, and another that was examined in an altitude chamber featuring air pressure akin to that of an airplane cabin.</p>

<p>Within each group, some test subjects drank alcohol, equivalent to two cans of beer or two glasses of wine, before sleeping and others did not.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The study showed that the average heart rate of the drunk test subjects in the simulated aircraft cabin rose to 88 beats per minute while they slept. Their oxygen saturation (SpO2) fell to about 85%. Whereas, a healthy SpO2 sits around 90%, according to the study, published in the journal Thorax.</p>

<p>US District Judge Terry Doughty in Monroe issued a preliminary injunction, opens new tab barring a U.S. Department of Education rule that extended sex discrimination protections under Title IX to LGBT students from taking effect in the Republican-led states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana and Idaho.</p>

<p>Those states had argued that unless the rule was blocked, schools would be required to allow transgender students to use restrooms and locker rooms conforming to their gender identities.</p>

<p>"Enacting the changes in the final rule would subvert the original purpose of Title IX: protecting biological females from discrimination," Doughty, an appointee of Republican former President Donald Trump, wrote.</p>

<p>The ruling was the first by a judge blocking the rule, which had been challenged in nine lawsuits by Republican-led states and conservative activists who argue it amounts to an unlawful rewrite by the Democratic president's administration of a law designed to protect women from discrimination in education.</p>

<p>"This is a big win for women's rights," Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen, a Republican, said in a statement. "This decision will keep young women and girls protected from dangerous situations, just as Title IX has done for decades."</p>

<p>“It should go without saying that imagery evoking violence is not a tool of peaceful expression or assembly,” he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Saini also called the image a “worrying escalation” which goes well beyond what universities are equipped to manage and said that they have contacted Canadian authorities over the social media post and “other recent activities as matters of national security”.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Zeyad Abisaab, a student at Concordia University who volunteers at the McGill encampment said that the post is about the ongoing activities at the encampment including workshops and discussions.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“It’s a space for people to learn,” said Abisaab, as quoted by Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). He also said that the image has been circulating in online pro-Palestinian spaces for years.&nbsp;</p>
