Earthquake Today Japan:An earthquake of magnitude 6 struck off the east coast of Honshu, Japan on Thursday (April 4), the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.

The quake hitat a depth of 32 km (19.88 miles), EMSC said.

No immediate news of damage or injuries after the earthquake was reported.

It comes a day after at least nine people were killed and more than 1,000 injured by a powerful earthquake in Taiwan, the most massive earthquake to have shaken Taiwan in 25 years.

Two Indian nationals are reported to be missing in Taiwan.

As per Indian media reports, a search operation was underway to find the missing Indians. Several thousand Indians, which includes 3,000 students, livein Taiwan.
