Saudi Arabia's fantasy city Neom being built for $1 trillion
The West Asian country of Saudi Arabia is undertaking a major engineering marvel. The oil-rich country is building a zero-carbon city named NEOM that will have vertical layers of buildings for work, living, farming, and leisure stretching 170 kilometers into the horizon. Straight out of a fantasy novel, Crown Prince and de facto ruler Mohammed bin Salman want it completed by 2030.
