Peak-Hour Ban on Heavy Vehicles Across City, Strict Fines & Stronger Enforcement

Under the new traffic order effective February 1, heavy vehicles will be barred from entering Mumbai during peak hours from 8 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 9 pm. In South Mumbai, stricter rules apply, with all heavy vehicles including luxury buses banned from 7 am to 12 midnight, except those carrying essential goods.
