Pakistan court gives verdict in 2002 Daniel Pearl kidnapping and murder case

The Sindh High Court in Pakistan on Thursday (April 2) commuted the death sentence of the prime accused in the 2002 kidnapping and murder of the Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. Ahmed Omer Saeed Sheikh will now serve seven years in prison.
