Israel played their first match outside the neutral venue of Hungary for the first-time amid the Israel-Palestine war. The match took place in Udine, Italy amid high security and had snipers on the roof of the stadium for protection. Italy won the match 4-1 and are on the cusp of booking a quarter-final berth in the UEFA Nations League. It was a memorable night for the Maldini family. Daniel Maldini became the third generation of his family to play for Italy after Paolo and Cesare.
