India's largest river island in the heart of Brahmaputra Majuli is facing the threat of existence, the island is now vanishing away in the river Brahmaputra. The Brahmaputra originates in China's Tibet and flows into Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. It later drains into the Bay of Bengal through Bangladesh.
