India elections 2024: Former CMs face defeat in J&K polls; two independent candidates win
There were many surprises and setbacks in parliamentary elections in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. On the one hand, J&K created history with over 58% voting, breaking records for the last 40 years. On the other hand, it also came as a setback for former CMs who lost their elections by hug margin.
