Global oil supply set to rise again in August
Organisation of the petroleum exporting countries, or OPEC, has agreed to raise its oil production target by 188 thousand barrels per day from August, extending its phased increase in supply. The decision follows similar output hikes for June and July and is part of the group's plan to gradually reverse production cuts introduced in 2023.
