Canada now top four CO2 emitters in 2023
The 2023 Canadian forest fires have been extreme in scale and intensity with more than seven times the average annual area burned compared to the previous four decades. This is according to a new study published in journal nature which also say that it has emitted more greenhouse gases than some of the largest emitting countries.
