Andhra Pradesh: Covid cases rise, four fatalities reported
Andhra Pradesh has confirmed the Omicron RF.5 sub-variant behind a small cluster of COVID-19 cases, after genome sequencing on samples from Kadapa district. The state has recorded 12-16 cases and 4 deaths since June 26, though officials note all four patients had serious underlying conditions like hypertension, diabetes, or kidney disease.
