Amsterdam: sailboat 'Tres Hombres' ships Caribbean cargo

A 32-metre twin-masted sailing ship is bringing Caribbean rum, coffee and cocoa to Amsterdam without relying on an engine. The Tres Hombres, operated by Fairtransport, uses wind power to transport cargo across the Atlantic, offering a low-emission alternative to conventional shipping. Carrying around 40 tonnes of cargo, the vessel is reviving centuries-old sailing techniques for modern, sustainable trade.
