Why the US needs India more than India needs the US?

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed some thorny issues with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Describing the current state of the relationship Blinken said that there were no illusions about the US-China relations, which remained difficult but consequential. Blinken reiterated that the US was not de-coupling but de-risking from China while to allay suspicions over America's Taiwan relationship- the US Secy of State said that America was committed to the one China policy. Although both nations stressed on the importance of having good ties, despite multiple talks, nothing concrete seems to have materialised.

At least 20 people were shot, one fatally, reported the local media citing the officials as police are in the midst of investigating an overnight shooting in the US state of Illinois southwest suburban Willowbrook, on Sunday (June 18). What do we know about the incident? Witnesses have said over 200 teens and young adults were gathered for a Juneteenth celebration when over two dozen shots were fired into the crowd. The incident took place at the intersection of Honeysuckle Rose Lane and Route 83 (Kingery Highway) in DuPage County. As of Sunday, at least 20 people had been shot, one fatally, said DuPage County Deputy Sheriff Eric Swanson told reporters. As per reports, victims were taken to the nearby hospitals in DuPage, Cook and Will counties. Fire officials had earlier said that there are five gunshot victims and at least 10 people have been shot and injured out of which two of them are in critical condition. According to Battalion Chief Joe Ostrander with the Tri-State Fire Protection District the shooting took place at around 12:30 am (local time), reported the local media. At least 12 ambulances responded to the scene, Ostrander added. The condition of the victims was not immediately known. Additionally, Swanson said that the motive behind the shooting is unclear and it is still an active investigation. What did the eyewitnesses say? “It was supposed to be like a Juneteenth celebration; we just started hearing shooting, so we dropped down until they stopped.
As per Mayo Clinic, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is characterised by a range of symptoms that can vary in severity. Here are some common symptoms associated with autism:

Social challenges: People with autism may struggle with social interactions and have difficulty understanding and responding to social cues. They may have limited eye contact, difficulty maintaining conversations, and find it challenging to develop friendships.

Communication difficulties: Individuals with autism may have delayed or impaired language development. They may have trouble initiating or sustaining conversations, using gestures appropriately, or understanding nonverbal communication such as facial expressions and body language.

Repetitive behaviours: Repetitive behaviors, also known as stereotyped or restricted patterns of behavior, are often observed in individuals with autism. These behaviors can include repetitive body movements (e.g., rocking, hand-flapping), insistence on sameness or routines, and highly focused or intense interests.

Sensory sensitivities: Many people with autism experience unusual sensitivities or aversions to sensory stimuli. This can involve being overly sensitive to certain sounds, lights, textures, or tastes, or having a high pain threshold.

Fixated interests: Individuals with autism often develop intense and narrow interests in specific topics or objects. They may display a deep knowledge and preoccupation with these interests, which can sometimes interfere with other activities.

It's important to note that these symptoms can manifest differently in each individual, and not everyone with autism will exhibit all of these characteristics. Additionally, the severity of symptoms can vary widely among people with ASD.

A jury on Friday found an American man guilty of claiming the lives of 11 Jewish worshippers at Pittsburgh's Tree of Life synagogue in the year 2018, in what is deemed the deadliest anti-Semitic attack in the history of the United States, reported local media.

Federal prosecutors charged Bowers with 63 counts, which also included 11 counts of obstruction of free exercise of religious beliefs resulting in death. The jury found him guilty on all counts, a spokesperson for the US Attorney's office in Pittsburgh confirmed, as cited by news agency Reuters.

Jurors, during his trial, heard testimony from the survivors of the attack. The evidence of Bowers' antisemitism included several posts that he made against Jews on a far-right website in the months leading to the attack.
