A bench of Justices Vikram Nath and Prasanna V Varale laid down the formula amid heated debate in the country around alimony, harassment and extortion by wife and in-laws. The debate was triggered by recent death of a techie from Uttar Pradesh state, who died by suicide after accusing his wife and her family of extortion.

A techie took to Reddit to speak about a job interview in Bengaluru in which she was asked to use the programming language CSS to draw the Indian flag and the Ashok Chakra.

In her post, the techie said that she was interviewed for a job at a "small company" that was located close to her house.

"I have a total of 10 years of experience in frontend technologies like angular, javascript, typescript, HTML, CSS etc. Generally, at this experience level, people ask more real-life scenario-based questions or coding skills to test logical thinking or some advanced concepts," wrote the user, while explaining her expectations from the interview.

The user said that she was disappointed by the interviewer's demand to use CSS for drawing the Indian flag after asking her "theoretical questions" on CSS.

‘Hustle culture comes at a cost’: 25-year-old techie hospitalised after intense work routine

In September 2019, shortly after the Indian Space Agency ISRO announced that it had lost contact with the Chandrayaan-2 Lunar lander (it had crash-landed), Shanmuga Subramanian, a Chennai-based techie made efforts to scan NASA's lunar maps and spotted the debris and the crash site.&nbsp;

His prized find of the debris and crash site was later acknowledged and validated by the American Space Agency. As India celebrates the Chandrayaan-3 landing and enthusiasts re-play the grand moment on their devices, Shanmuga Subramanian has been poring through data from ISRO's lunar landing videos and ISRO's lunar maps. His goal is to get a likely fix on the landing site of Chandrayaan-3 (Vikram lander).

Shanmuga is no space scientist or expert. He works for an IT firm and spends his leisurely hours poring through maps of other celestial bodies, trying to make interesting discoveries. After two hours of effort, he has been able to analyse frame-by-frame and juxtapose the lunar craters near the landing site (as shown on ISRO videos of the lunar landing approach) with the ISRO lunar map generated by the Chandrayaan-2 Orbiter High-Resolution Camera (OHRC).&nbsp;

Notably, OHRC is the highest-resolution camera that has been circling the moon, since 2019. In 2019, when Chandrayaan-2 crash landed, Shanmuga had been comparing images from the NASA Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter(LRO) and trying to find any new dark spot/impact crater/debris in the vicinity of Chandrayaan-2's intended landing site. An Indian-American woman, who went missing from the US state of Texas earlier this month, was found dead on Saturday, May 13. The 25-year-old woman named Lahari Pathivada was last seen driving a black Toyota in the McKinney suburb of Texas and her body was discovered nearly 322 kilometres away in neighbouring Oklahoma state.

Seven Indian-origin persons have been charged by US federal authorities with insider trading in a scheme through which they made over a million dollars in illegal profits.

Hari Prasad Sure, 34, Lokesh Lagudu, 31 and Chotu Prabhu Tej Pulagam, 29, are friends and worked as software engineers at Twilio, a San Francisco-based cloud computing communications company, the Securities and Exchange Commission said Monday.

The complaint said Mr Sure tipped his close friend Dileep Kumar Reddy Kamujula, 35, who successfully traded in Twilio's options. Mr Lagudu similarly tipped his girlfriend Sai Nekkalapudi, 30 with whom he lived, and he also tipped his former roommate and close friend Abhishek Dharmapurikar, 33. Mr Pulagam tipped his brother Chetan Prabhu Pulagam, 31. All the seven defendants live in California.

The SEC announced insider trading charges against the seven individuals for allegedly generating more than USD 1 million in collective profits by insider trading ahead of Twilio's positive first quarter 2020 earnings announcement on May 6, 2020.

According to the SEC's complaint, Mr Sure, Mr Lagudu and Mr Chotu Pulagam had access to various databases relevant to Twilio's reporting of revenue.

As alleged, around March 2020, they learned through the databases that Twilio's customers had increased their usage of the company's products and services in response to health measures taken in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, and concluded in a joint chat that Twilio's stock price would "rise for sure."

The SEC's complaint alleges that despite receiving a company policy that prohibited them from insider trading, Mr Sure, Mr Lagudu and Mr Chotu Pulagam knowingly tipped off, or used the brokerage accounts of Mr Kamujula, Ms Nekkalapudi, Mr Dharmapurikar and Chetan Pulagam to trade Twilio options and stock in advance of its May 6, 2020 earnings announcement while in possession of the confidential information concerning customer usage.

According to the complaint, the scheme generated more than USD 1 million in illegal trading profits.

The SEC complaint said that Mr Sure, Mr Lagudu and Mr Chotu Pulagam "communicated at times in Telugu, a language used frequently in parts of India." From late March to early May 2020, they engaged in discussions about the upcoming earnings announcement within a private chat channel they created at Twilio.

"On several occasions between late March and early May 2020, before Twilio's public earnings announcement, Mr Sure, Mr Lagudu and Mr Chotu Pulagam used internal chat channels to discuss in Telugu whether Twilio might exceed market expectations in its quarterly report of earnings, due in May 2020."

The complaint said that "armed with valuable inside information", they had obtained from Twilio, Mr Sure, Mr Lagudu and Mr Chotu Pulagam began passing tips to their family and friends through phone calls and in-person visits in advance of Twilio's earnings announcement on May 6, 2020.

"We allege that this insider trading ring took advantage of valuable revenue information related to the pandemic at a San Francisco tech company," said Monique C. Winkler, Acting Regional Director of the SEC's San Francisco Regional Office.

"We are holding these alleged tippers and tippees accountable for their roles in the scheme." The SEC complaint added that Mr Kamujula, Ms Nekkalapudi, Mr Dharmapurikar, and Chetan Pulagam were themselves employees of other publicly traded companies, and they understood it was improper for the insiders to tip another person to trade securities on the basis of material, nonpublic information. Mr Sure, Mr Lagudu and Mr Chotu Pulagam used their friends and family to profit personally from their insider trading scheme and to avoid detection.

On May 4, 2020 (just two days before the scheduled Twilio earnings announcement), Mr Sure, Mr Pulagam, and Mr Chotu Pulagam discussed in the chat channel their anticipation that Twilio's stock price, which was then trading around USD 110 per share, would dramatically increase following the earnings announcement and readied themselves to sell their own company restricted stock units post-announcement.

"Sure noted "[l]ooks like [the stock price] is going to be $150," to which Chotu Pulagam responded "Millionaireeee," the complaint said.

The SEC's complaint, filed in the Northern District of California, charges each of the defendants with violating anti-fraud provisions of the Securities Exchange Act. The US Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California also announced criminal charges against Kamujula.

Mr Sure, Mr Lagudu and Mr Chotu Pulagam used their friends and family to profit personally from their insider trading scheme and to avoid detection. On May 4, 2020 (just two days before the scheduled Twilio earnings announcement), Mr Sure, Mr Pulagam, and Mr Chotu Pulagam discussed in the chat channel their anticipation that Twilio's stock price, which was then trading around USD 110 per share, would dramatically increase following the earnings announcement and readied themselves to sell their own company restricted stock units post-announcement. "Sure noted "[l]ooks like [the stock price] is going to be $150," to which Chotu Pulagam responded "Millionaireeee," the complaint said. The SEC's complaint, filed in the Northern District of California, charges each of the defendants with violating anti-fraud provisions of the Securities Exchange Act. The US Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California also announced criminal charges against Kamujula.

Kavita, who also loves outdoor activities, was supposed to participate in the half-marathon along with Anant but had to sit out due to a leg injury. She was waiting for Anant at the finish line where they exchanged garlands in presence of many participants and friends.

A 26-year-old security guard has been apprehended in connection with the murder of a 23-year-old woman IT professional from Infosys, who was found dead last night in a conference room of the company in Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park at Hinjawadi in Pune, police said on Monday.

&quot;On the basis of the CCTV footage from the company premises and other clues, we zeroed down on a security guard from Assam, who after the incident, fled and now has been held in Mumbai,&quot; said Arun Waikar, the senior police inspector with Hinjawadi Police Station.

The suspect has been identified as Bhabhen Saikia, who was deployed as a guard at the Infosys unit, and is being brought to Pune, he said.

OP Rasila from Kerala, who was working as a system engineer with Infosys was found dead after she was allegedly strangulated with the help of a computer cord and was hit hard on the face, police said.

According to police, the incident might have taken place at around 5 pm, but police received the call around 8 pm&nbsp;last night.

ACP Vaishali Jadhav-Mane had said on Sunday night that the techie was working in the conference room on the ninth floor of Infosys&#39;s Phase-II campus whereas her two team mates were online from Bangalore.

&quot;Her manager was trying to call her, but there was no response. He then called and asked a security guard to go and check, and when the security guard went to see her, the woman was found lying on the floor in an unconscious state in the conference room,&quot; the officer had said.

An offence has been registered under the section of 302 (murder) and further investigation is on, said police adding the process of post mortem is underway.
