<p>The subject of Taiwan loomed large over a meeting in Tokyo of leaders from the Quad nations of the United States, Japan, Australia, and India, who reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring a free and open Indo-Pacific area in the face of a more assertive China.</p>

<p>Taiwan is regarded by China as an inalienable part of its territory, and differences with Washington over Taiwan are the most sensitive issue in its relationship with the US.</p>

<p>Biden's remark seems to have angered Beijing, which said that Washington was "playing with fire."</p>

<p>The YouTube video published by Zeng&nbsp;has gone viral with experts looking into China's stated goals to annex Taiwan. However, it is still unverified and is being examined by various security agencies.</p>

<p>The explosive video is titled: "War mobilisation meeting of PLA and Guangdong province" and categorised as "top secret recording". It details "mobilisation" in six major cities in the Pearl River Delta and the main deployment of the 74th Army Group as a "key support".</p>

<p>"In terms of mobilization focus, we need to coordinate the two areas of the Taiwan Strait and the South China Sea," the commander is heard saying.</p>

<p>The discussion also reveals the commanders ready to deploy ultra-short wave, Tiantong-1 satellite phone to establish mobile communications in motion including the use of 140,000 personnel, 953 ships of various types and 1,653 units of various unmanned equipment including the use drones.</p>

<p>The commanders intend to use 38 aircraft, 588 train cars and 19 civil facilities including airports and docks as part of the mobilisation plan in order "to offer full support for the decisive battle at the Taiwan Strait."</p>

<p>In the video, the commanders plan to "mobilise overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese organisations to actively participate in supporting" the military operations.</p>

<p>The plan involves a "sea defence brigade" with focus on "Pearl River Delta region to prevent chaos".</p>

<p>"This is a manifestation of the ugliest part of our humanity that exists in our country today," Barnes said at a news conference on Monday, also referencing the weekend's racist mass shooting targeting Black people in Buffalo, New York.</p>

<p>As Chou began his rampage, Dr. John Cheng, 52, a sports medicine specialist, tackled him and was shot. But Cheng, who Barnes described as a hero, was able to give other congregants, including a pastor, the opportunity to overpower the shooter and tie his legs with an electrical cord, detaining him until sheriff's deputies arrived and broke through the chains on the doors.</p>

<p>This included Most Ven. Dharma Master Hsin Tao, member of the supreme Dhamma council, Linju mountain monastery, and museum of world religion, Taiwan. The event will later see the participation of top Indian govt ministers--Union Minister for Law and Justice Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister for Culture Tourism G. Kishan Reddy, and Minister of State for Culture Arjun Ram Meghawal.</p>

India headquartered IBC was founded in 2013 and aims to provide a platform for the global Buddhist community. The development comes on a day when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be at Nepal's Lumbini on a one-day trip.</p>

<p>Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. During the stay, which comes on Buddha Purnima, PM will address a gathering and hold talks with Nepal PM Deuba. During the event Dalai Lama, who is also a patron of IBC in a spiritual message said," we are celebrating Vesak, which commemorated the Buddha's attainment of enlightenment after enduring six&nbsp;years of austerity".</p>

<p>Interestingly, Prime Minister will participate in the "Shilanyas” ceremony for the construction of a centre for Buddhist culture and heritage, in a plot belonging to the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC), New Delhi within the Lumbini Monastic Zone. The construction of the Centre is being undertaken by the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) under the auspices of the Lumbini Development Trust with the support of India's Culture Ministry.<br />
