Meanwhile, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari condemned the blast and expressed deep condolences to the victims' families. Most of the injured are lawyers and staff working at the court, AFP reported. "As I parked my car and entered the complex, I heard a loud bang on the gate... I saw two dead bodies lying on the gate, and several cars were on fire," lawyer Rustam Malik told AFP. Reuters quoted a police spokesperson and said, "We are probing what kind of blast it was. It is not clear yet. We will be able to provide more details after we get a report from our forensic team."&nbsp;Pakistani media also reported that the blast took place hours after Pakistani security forces foiled an attack by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) at Cadet College Wana in south Waziristan. At least five Chinese nationals and their Pakistani driver have been killed after their convoy was attacked by a suicide bomber in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Tuesday (Mar 26), the police confirmed. This was the third major attack on Chinese interests in Pakistan in a week.&nbsp;

<h2>What we know about the incident</h2>

Mohammad Ali Gandapur, the regional police chief told Reuters that a suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a convoy of Chinese engineers which was on its way from the Pakistan capital city, Islamabad to their camp in Dasu. &nbsp;

“Five Chinese nationals and their Pakistani driver were killed in the attack,” said Gandapur. Notably.&nbsp;Dasu is the site of a major dam and the area has been attacked before.&nbsp;

Local media reports citing officials said that it was a “suicide blast” and that the provincial police had reached the spot and started relief operations.

“We will investigate from where and how the vehicle of a suicide bomber came and how it happened,” Besham station house officer Bakht Zahir told Dawn.&nbsp;

According to rescue officials, after the blast, the vehicle fell into a gorge and caught fire. The blaze has since been put out by the emergency team.&nbsp;

So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.&nbsp;

In 2021, at least 13 people, including nine Chinese nationals, were killed during an attack on a vehicle that was carrying them to an under-construction tunnel site of the Dasu hydropower project.&nbsp;

China's&nbsp;embassy in Pakistan released a statement after the attack and called for&nbsp;an investigation.&nbsp;

"The Chinese Embassy and Consulates General in Pakistan have launched an emergency plan immediately, requesting the Pakistani side to thoroughly investigate the attack and severely punish the perpetrators...(we) are&nbsp;taking all necessary measures to protect the safety of Chinese citizens, institutions and projects in Pakistan,&nbsp;and to ensure such incidents will not happen again."

Beijing has invested billions in infrastructure projects as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and several Chinese engineers have been working on a number of projects in the South Asian country.&nbsp;

Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari took to X and strongly condemned the attack and offered condolences to the families of the Chinese nationals and Beijing’s government.&nbsp;

He added that those who are hostile to Pakistan will “never succeed in harming Pak-China friendship”.&nbsp;

The reportedly deadly attack on Pakistan’s second-largest naval air station, the PNS Siddique in Turbat took place earlier on Tuesday (Mar 26) the responsibility of which was claimed by the Majeed Brigade of the Balochistan Liberation Army, a proscribed separatist militant organisation based in Afghanistan.&nbsp;

The attack on the naval air station was marked by intense gunfire and multiple explosions.

Five Chinese engineers, local driver killed in suicide bomb attack in Pakistan

At least 46 people were killed and over 200 were injured after a suicide bomber detonated himself in the middle of a political rally in&nbsp;Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Sunday (July 30). A video of the incident has now gone viral on social media platforms which shows the moment the bomber set off the explosion while unsuspecting people stood nearby.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The incident took place at a&nbsp;Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) convention in the Khar tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur district.

One of the videos shows the followers keenly listening to the speeches being given from the main stage. Suddenly the explosion occurs and those at the end of the tent can be seen running for their lives, amid the pandemonium.&nbsp;

Another video shows the blast that took place close to the stage where several senior leaders of the party could be seen sitting. According to an eyewitness cited by agency reports, the tent collapsed on one side, trapping the followers who were attempting to escape the scene.&nbsp;

The leader of the JUI-F party, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, expressed “deep sorrow and regret” following the blast, in a statement released by his press office.

Notably, the place where the blast took place had been a stronghold of the Pakistani Taliban before the army intervened and drove the terrorists out. Since the Taliban took over in Afghanistan, there have been reports that Pakistan Taliban's influence is on the rise, with Islamabad facing a tough existential crisis from a demon that it nurtured over the years.&nbsp;

Meanwhile, Zabiullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Afghan Taliban, said on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, that “such crimes cannot be justified in any way.”

A powerful explosion ripped through the Saddar area of Karachi, Pakistan, late Thursday night, claiming one life and injuring 13 people.

According to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South Sharjeel Kharal, several cars were damaged during the blast while the windows of the nearby buildings were shattered.

All the injured have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital even as the officials are determining the cause of the explosion.

This is the second time in two weeks that Karachi city has been hit by explosion.

On April 27, a suspected female suicide bomber killed three Chinese teachers outside the Karachi university.

A separatist group, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) based in southwestern Balochistan province bordering Afghanistan and Iran, claimed responsibility for the blast.

Three killed in IED blast in Pakistan's Sindh

An improvised explosive device blast today struck a restive tribal region of northwest Pakistan, killing two persons and injuring 26 others. 
 
The blast occurred in Nawagai tehsil of Chaharmang area and targeted labourers, the political administration officials said. 
 
Political authorities told that a vehicle carrying labourers was hit by a roadside IED, killing two labourers and injuring 26 others. 
 
The injured were rushed to the Agency Headquarters Hospital where the condition of some of the injured labourers were stated to be critical. 
 
The security forces rushed to the site and have started the search operation. 
 
The blast comes as the army is busy in Operation Khyber-4 in Rajgal Valley, which also borders the Pak-Afghan border.&nbsp;
