<p>As the Met Gala 2019 takes over the world of fashion, our Indian beauties Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone made it to the event to showcase their own brand of style and fashion. While Priyanka channelled a frosty queen vibe in a silver-coloured ensemble, Deepika came to the pink carpet wearing pink.</p>

<p>Deepika is usually known for playing safe with her outfits, choosing colours and styles that suit her body type. This, in fact, led to a lot of backlash to her last year’s outfit when she turned up to the event in a satin slip dress, in a complete disarray with the theme.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This year, however, Deepika has tried to stick to the theme ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’ as she wore a gorgeous custom-made pink gown that was made from pink lurex jacquard with 3D printed pieces.</p>

<p>Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been announced to be a part of the prestigious 2019 Met Gala host committee. The host list if revealed every year by Vogue US editor Anna Wintour.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Among the many stars announced to be on the list, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lopez, Lupita Nyong’o, loved couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds along with our desi couple Priyanka and Nick.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Priyanka took to Instagram to share the news: "From walking the prestigious carpet for the first time to meeting my husband and many friends for life... Nick and I are honored to be on the Benefit Committee for this year’s Met Gala. Looking forward to the first Monday of May,"</p>
