The most popular destination for those who have travelled to the Southwest is the "Super Bowl Experience" in the city's convention center, where fans and locals can take part in all manner of games as well as view trophies and memorabilia.

<h3>Injuries clear up</h3>

All but one of the Eagles' fitness worries had cleared up but punt return specialist and wide receiver Britain Covey was listed as questionable with a hamstring injury.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said he had a full roster available for the game with those players who had some question marks over injuries given the all-clear.

"I'm happy for the guys," Reid said. "We'll make it work with whatever we got but I'm happy for the guys to have this chance. It's special. To play in the Super Bowl. It's a great opportunity that doesn't come around very often," he said.

Reid added that Saturday's relatively light session was called a "Mock Game" practice, which involved "all the situational stuff."

The Eagles walk through practice had a similar focus with an emphasis on game-opening plays and situations including two-minute drills, punts and fourth downs.

After the session, the Eagles senior players who make up their dozen-strong leadership council stayed on the field to talk for a while with coach Nick Sirianni.

"Sometimes good coaching is just reminding them of things they already know," Sirianni said of the conversation.&nbsp;

"So just reminding (them to) stay in routine, stay in the moment. Don't let distractions happen," he added.

On paper, there is very little to choose between the teams, who have identical 16-3 records this season and remarkably have even scored the exact same number of points -- 546.

Mahomes and Hurts are the youngest quarterback pairing ever in a Super Bowl and Sunday's game also marks the first time that two black quarterbacks face each other in the biggest game.

Mahomes will cement his status as the finest&nbsp;NFL&nbsp;quarterback of this post-Tom Brady generation if he can add a second Super Bowl ring to his two Most Valuable Player awards.

The Chiefs quarterback is playing in his third Super Bowl, having won in 2020, while his 24-year-old opposite number Hurts is making his debut in the game and has played only three post-season games in his career.

The Chiefs can count on Mahomes's strong partnership with tight end Travis Kelce, but the Eagles have a strong defense and Hurts has the ability to run with the ball, providing a dangerous dual threat.

Former Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach Britt Reid was sentenced to three years in prison on Tuesday for a drunk driving crash in February that injured six people including a five-year-old girl, according to multiple media reports.

A police investigation determined that Reid, who is the son of Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, was driving a truck that was traveling nearly 84 miles per hour (135 kph) just before the crash near Arrowhead Stadium.

In the Feb. 4, 2021 incident, Reid's truck struck a disabled vehicle and another vehicle that was attempting to offer assistance while both vehicles were pulled over to the side of the road. It came three days before the Chiefs lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Super Bowl in Tampa, Florida.

A test of his blood serum after the crash showed his blood alcohol concentration to be at 0.113, according to prosecutors. The legal limit while operating a motor vehicle in Missouri is 0.08.

The family opposed the plea deal that was given to Reid, who had sought probation after pleading guilty in September to driving while intoxicated resulting in serious bodily injury, according to reports.

Laurent was picked in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL draft, in 2018 he earned his doctorate in medicine degree from McGill University Canada. He has gone back to his native country to help them in the fight against coronavirus.&nbsp;

He wrote an article in a sports magazine talking about the role and difficulties he faced, "I fell into a gray area where they didn't know what to do with me, because I don't have a license to practice -- yet," Duvernay-Tardif wrote on how difficult it was for him to come back to the medical field. "In the interim, officials briefed me on an almost daily basis, and I used my platform and credentials to relay their messages."&nbsp;

He was cleared to assist medical professionals, and he took a crash course learning the steps of sanitizing and putting the surgical gown.&nbsp;

"That stuff is more important than ever, to protect not only yourself but your patients," he wrote.

"There's so much that needs to happen just to visit with every patient -- masks donned and hands washed and equipment like gloves and visors tugged on and off and thrown away. If Chiefs supporters were over-the-moon about the long-overdue Super Bowl win at Hard Rock Stadium they will be doubly excited about what the future might hold with Mahomes calling plays for years to come.

With an ageing cast of quarterbacking greats marching towards retirement the NFL is searching for the new face of the league and after Sunday's display, Mahomes looks to be the man.

Mahomes, who completed 26 of 42 attempts for 286 yards and threw two touchdown passes, appeared out of sorts for nearly three-quarters of the game but took charge when it mattered to earn the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player (MVP) honours.

He becomes the second-youngest quarterback to win a Super Bowl and the youngest to claim both NFL and Super Bowl MVP awards.

But while Mahomes has been more than willing to take on the responsibilities as a team leader he is not quite as prepared to assume the job of the NFL's frontman.

"There's several guys that could be the face of the NFL," he said. "Just how good the quarterback play is now, guys come in here year in and year out and play great football.

"Lamar (Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens) won the league MVP last night and he was a unanimous choice and had one of the best season of all-time at the quarterback position so there's guys like that it seems every year.

"A lot of young quarterbacks and still a lot of veteran guys are playing at a very high level.

"I'm just trying to be the best Patrick Mahomes I can be and win football games."

Very few quarterbacks, veterans or newcomers, have demonstrated the Houdini-like ability to escape defeat.

During the postseason, with Mahomes leading Kansas City's explosive attack, no lead has been safe.

In the divisional playoffs, the Chiefs fought back from 24-0 down to beat the Houston Texans and then erased a 10-0 Tennessee Titans advantage in the AFC championship.

The strong-armed, charismatic leader has become a one-man highlight reel with his no0look passes and scrambling wizardry.

In just his second year as a starter, statistically few have been better.

Mahomes became only the second quarterback with 5,000 passing yards and 50 touchdowns in a single season.

With his outrageous skill, blue-collar work ethic, and self-belief, the Chiefs could be on the cusp of a dynasty.

"We will enjoy this and then we come back next year it is going to be the same hard thing, the same amount of tenacity, dedication every single day," said Mahomes, looking forward to next season even as the champagne corks were popping on the current campaign.

"We're going to take it one day at a time, one year at a time and try to put together great years.

"Then at the end of it all, we will have no regrets on where we are at.
