Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has threatened Trump. Khamenei said that the U.S. would receive a strong blow if it acted on President Trump's threat to bomb unless Tehran reaches a new nuclear deal with Washington. Trump reiterated his threat on Sunday that Iran would be bombed if it does not accept his offer for talks outlined in a letter sent to Iran's leadership in early March. Watch in for more details!

Violence is surging across the Occupied West Bank and Gaza as Israeli forces intensify operations. The IDF has killed teenage stone-throwers, and a strike on Gaza City has left 30 dead. Hamas warns the offensive endangers hostage lives, while even Israeli generals condemn settler violence.

A mobile phone video released by the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has raised serious questions about the Israeli military’s version of events surrounding a deadly attack on March 23 that killed 15 emergency workers in Gaza.
The footage, recorded in the dark, shows a convoy of ambulances and a fire truck moving with both headlights and emergency lights switched on. Moments later, the vehicles come under heavy fire. According to the PRCS, the video was found on the phone of a paramedic who died in the incident.
This directly challenges Israel's earlier claim that the vehicles were unlit and may not have been recognised as medical units. After the video became public, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) told the BBC, “All claims, including the documentation circulating about the incident, will be thoroughly and deeply examined to understand the sequence of events and the handling of the situation.”
One paramedic who survived the attack had already told the BBC that the vehicles were clearly marked as ambulances and had both internal and external lights turned on.
The PRCS said the video was also shown to members of the UN Security Council. It captures the ambulances coming to a stop with lights still flashing and emergency responders stepping out wearing reflective uniforms. The sound of gunfire follows soon after. The man filming can be heard praying before the video ends. He was later confirmed among the dead.
His body, along with those of other victims, was recovered from a shallow grave near the wrecked vehicles nearly a week after the attack. The dead included eight PRCS paramedics, six members of Gaza’s Civil Defence, and one UN staff member. International organisations had to wait several days before they were allowed safe access to the area.
Israel has claimed that the ambulances were carrying fighters from Hamas and Islamic Jihad but has offered no evidence. The IDF maintains its stance, with Foreign Minister Gideon Saar saying, “The IDF did not randomly attack an ambulance.”
The military has said it will carry out a full investigation, especially after survivors and families of the victims questioned its account.

I was the one who uncovered my brother’s face, and I began to wonder if it was really him.” He said the body was confirmed to be his brother by the ring on his finger.
“There were marks from restraints on Saleh’s wrists where the Israeli army had bound him. His fingers were also broken,” he added. Two other witnesses said some of the victims had been found with hands or feet tied.
Bilal also criticised Israel’s claim that the victims were militants. “These paramedics were providing humanitarian services. They did not pose any threat or carry weapons. What was their crime for them to be killed like this?” he said.
Sobhi Bahloul, 63, was one of the relatives who rushed to the morgue at Nasser Hospital to look for his son Mohammad, a Red Crescent volunteer.

What's on Trump's agenda as he plans to visit Saudi for his first foreign trip. Is it Israel, Ukraine or something else?

Facebook has given a platform to over 100 property ads promoting houses in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Is the social media company Meta making big money by featuring these ads on the portal?
A report published by the news outlet Al Jazeera highlights concerns over Meta making profits from content that could possibly violate international laws surrounding the region. Among the ads were fundraising activities for Israel Defense Forces (IDF) units operating in Gaza. Some ads also called for the demolition of Palestinian homes, playgrounds, and schools.

When contacted, Meta told the news outlet that advertisements hosted on the platform were reviewed by its team before going live. Facebook's parent company has owned up that some ads that were featuring on the platform have been pulled down as they were 'violating our social issues, elections, and politics policies'. But nowhere has the company confirmed that ads promoting property in the West Bank breached any guidelines set by the company or international laws.
"We have robust processes and teams to review ads, and our ad review system is designed to review ads before they go live. This system relies primarily on automated technology to apply our Advertising Standards to the millions of ads that run across our apps, while relying on our teams to build and train these systems and, in some cases, to manually review ads," Meta told the news outlet.

The properties advertised are flagship apartments by builders and flaunt luxury; 'jacuzzi, sauna, and cold plunge' are among the buzzwords used in the ads.
Professor Aoife O’Donoghue, an international law expert from Queen’s University Belfast, said, “On the West Bank, property can be privately bought and sold. However, whether they have the legal title to sell that land at all would be highly questionable."
She added, "If the Israeli government is facilitating it, and they are settlements, then they would be in violation of the Third Geneva Convention. Here, the Israeli government has a duty to prevent illegal settlements.”
