Mongolian Member of Parliament Batshugar Enkhbayar expressed appreciation for India for organising the ceremony where the four Holy Relics of Lord Buddha were publically exhibited at Ganden Tegchenling Monastery in Ulaanbaatar.

He further said that this is the last time, India is sending the Holy Relics outside the country.

Referring to the public exposition of the four Holy Relics of Lord Buddha ceremony, Mangolian MP said, "I believe this ceremony is exceptionally significant for Magnolia, for the Mongolian culture and Buddhist community as a whole".

He further said that "this is the second time that the Holy Relic came to Mongolia. Earlier, it came in 1994".

Enkhbayar said that he believed that India played a significant role after the first communism in Mongolia.

He also called India a "cultural and economic friend" and said that India has helped the country with financial assistance.

Earlier, on Monday, Buddhist devotees and the people in the Mongolian capital gave a rousing welcome to an Indian delegation led by Union Minister Rijiju as they arrived here with the Holy Relics of Lord Buddha.

The four Holy Relics known as the "Kapilvastu Relics" were brought in two special bulletproof caskets on board an Indian Air Force aircraft.

The Holy Relics will be displayed at the Batsagaan Temple in Gandan Tegchenling Monastery complex in Ulaanbaatar for 11 days.

They were under the care of the National Museum in Delhi and during the 11-day visit to Mongolia the relics will be accorded the status of a "state guest".

The Holy Relics of Lord Buddha which are returning to Mongolia after 29 years are considered one of the most sacred relics of Buddhism.

In 2015, the Holy Relics were placed under the "AA"&nbsp;category of Antiquities and Art Treasures which should not be ordinarily taken out of the country for exhibition, considering their delicate nature.

The display of sacred "Kapilavastu relics"&nbsp;at Ganden Tegchenling Monastery is called a historic milestone in India-Mongolia relations and will further boost cultural and spiritual relations between the two countries.

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the first-ever Prime Minister of India to visit Mongolia, and taking the relics to Mongolia is an extension of the vision of the PM to revive the relations with the countries with whom India had cultural and spiritual ties centuries ago.&nbsp;

Vector-borne diseases are most likely to spread between July and November but might last until mid-December. The civic officials said that this year, dengue cases are being reported early this year due to favourable weather for the mosquito reproduction.&nbsp;

Chinese Defence Minister General Wei Fenghe said on Sunday that China and India have taken part in 15 rounds of talks at the commander level till now and assured that both countries are working towards establishing peace along the Line of Actual Control. During his address at the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore, Fenghe said that it is in the mutual interest of both India and China to maintain peace in the region and that is why both parties are trying extremely hard to reach an agreement. When asked about the conflict around the LAC, he said - “We have had 15 rounds of talks at commander level with the Indians and we are working together for peace in this area”.

However, Fenghe claimed that China has found Indian-owned weapons on their side and said that India has also sent people beyond the border.

“But on frictions along the border areas, the merits of the issue are clear. I personally experienced the start and end of the frictions as Defence minister. We have found a lot of weapons owned by the Indian side. They have also sent people to the Chinese side of the territory,” Fenghe said.

Fenghe was also quite critical of the United States and said that they are trying to “hijack” the support of countries in the Indo-Pacific region in order to turn nations against China.

China and India working on peace along LAC, says Chinese defence minister Wei Fenghe

Sri Lanka Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said that India helped the island nation way more than China while they were going through a major economic crisis. Wickremesinghe was made prime minister of Sri Lanka amid tremendous inflation and resulting protests. In an exclusive interview with Managing Editor of WION Palki Sharma, the Sri Lanka PM explained that China had a lot of red tape when it came to helping Sri Lanka and that is why they focused more on negotiations with India.

“They (China) helped in some ways, but big arrangements did not come through because we focused on India. I don't think they could get much from China and Japan during that time. It is not a fault of Colombo as we decided to focus on India because India came up with the money. And that's what we wanted. It is the question of who had less red tape,” Wickremesinghe said in the interview.

Wickremesinghe was quick to point out that the Sri Lankan government does not believe that China ditched them during tough times and made it clear that he will be speaking to China about the donor conference which is aimed towards the “Reconstruction and Development of Sri Lanka”. &nbsp;

Indian health minister Mandaviya to travel to Russia for economic meet

The India Meteorological Department predicted that the maximum temperature in Delhi NCR and other parts of northwest India will drop a few degrees over the weekend, but no significant relief is expected until June 15.&nbsp;The temperature might fluctuate between 40 and 43 degrees Celsius. However, as per the forecast, from 16 June onwards, easterly breezes will bring major relief to the region. Due to an onslaught of hot and dry westerly winds, northwest and central India has been experiencing a heatwave since June 2, as reported by PTI.

Senior IMD scientist R K Jenamani said, “The ongoing heatwave spell is less intense as compared to those recorded in April-end and May, but the area of impact is almost equal," he said. He further said that the current heatwave is less severe than the one recorded in late April and early May, but is nearly equivalent.&nbsp;

"There are no laboratory animals required for the preparation of the antigens. The kit is made in India and a patent has been filed for the same. No other comparable kits for detection of antibodies in canines are available in the market," the ICAR said. &nbsp;
