<p>The family described their ordeal, saying that they reached the top of meadows after a tough, muddy hour-long horse ride, where they spent some time sightseeing and were about to go for the adventure activity zone.&nbsp;</p>
<p>However, their son Siddhant felt hungry and insisted on stopping to eat first.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"Around 1:45 pm, we thought of going there. But my son said he was hungry. We tried to convince him that we could eat before leaving. But he was adamant. So we headed towards the makeshift food stalls. We ordered Maggi," Pradeep told NDTV.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After 15-20 seconds, they saw two guys with big guns and they were shooting continuously, Pradeep said, adding that one terrorist went towards the lower part of the Valley and another headed towards them.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Initially, we did not realise what was happening. Then we lay down. At this point, my wife thought of getting my bag, which was on the table. Our IDs and phones were in it. She got up to take the bag and felt something go past her right ear. It was a bullet," Pradeep said.</p>
<p>Shubha then realised that the IDs and phones were left on the table, but she instinctively got up to grab the bag. In that moment as she leaned forward to take the bag, a bullet whizzed past her right ear, grazing her hair.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"Something touched my hair," Shubha recalled. "I didn&rsquo;t realise it was a bullet at first, but the force made me turn &mdash; I saw it had hit the floor. God saved me."</p>
<p>Pradeep said that he didn't realise at that time that it was a terrorist attack, but recalled that someone shouted and asked people to run.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"I was 100 per cent sure we were going to die," Pradeep said. "But my wife just kept saying &lsquo;Nothing will happen&rsquo;. That confidence, I think, kept us going."</p>

Trudeau&rsquo;s office later claimed it was a mistake.&nbsp;In 2023. Trudeau in Parliament referred to Hardeep Singh Nijjar&rsquo;s killing, and had said that &ldquo;Canadian security agencies have been actively pursuing credible allegations of a potential link between agents of the Government of India and the killing of a Canadian citizen.&rdquo; In November 2024, he said that "freedom of expression" allows people to peacefully advocate for political causes, adding that Canada does not support violence or extremism. Between 2020-2024, he had said "Canada will always defend freedom of expression, freedom of conscience, and peaceful protest&rdquo; a number of times.</span></p>
<p><span>Political compulsions may have driven Trudeau's motive as Jagmeet Singh was his kingmaker - even India's Foreign Minister<strong>&nbsp;</strong>S Jaishankar had pointd this out in an interview last year. 'You don't look like Kashmiri, Hindu ho kya?': Man recalls terror suspect spoke to him day before Pahalgam attack

<p>A Pune-based man has claimed that he has video of the terrorists in Pahalgam's Baisaran valley that he accidentally captured while filming his daughter's reel. He has shared the video with the National Investigative Agency (NIA) for probe, he said.</p>
<p>In the video, a child can be seen dancing when two men - who allegedly carried out the attack - were seen. The man claimed that he identified the men after J&amp;K Police released their sketches and decided to share the evidence with the investigative agencies. The Pune man has identified himself as social activist Sreejit Rameshan, who along with his family went on a tour to Pahalgam but fortunately, returned before the fatal attack happened.</p>
<p><span>&ldquo;We started receiving frantic calls and messages from worried friends and relatives,&rdquo; Rameshan told Punekar News. He added that the video was captured at 02:38 pm on April 18. He further claimed that the men in his video are similar to the sketches released by the administration. "The resemblance was unmistakable."
