The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the official schedule of the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 which begins on February 19. The eight-team tournament will be played under hybrid model with India's matches scheduled to be played in Dubai, UAE.

An agreement has been made not just for the 2025 Champions Trophy, but for the entire 2024-27 ICC cycle. India-Pakistan matches hosted by either country at ICC Events during the period will be played at a neutral venue. The decision marks a major development in cricketing ties between both countries, which have been affected due to the strained political relations over the last two decades.

A final decision on the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy was made on Monday after weeks of deliberation. Pakistan will host the tournament in February and March next year, but India's matches will be played at a neutral venue.

India and Pakistan will be part of all ICC tournaments scheduled till 2028, per the governing body’s latest statement.

On Dec 19 (Thursday), the International Cricket Council (ICC) approved of a hybrid model for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 edition, which will be held in Pakistan -- the original hosts -- and a neutral venue (which will host the India games).
