<p>The blood-spattered tale of noble families vying for the Iron Throne has just one episode to go and buzz is at a fever pitch for a ratings juggernaut that has demolished audience records like a Dothraki barbarian finishing off a skillet of horse meat.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"We want people to love it. It matters a lot&nbsp;to us. We've spent 11 years doing this,"&nbsp;Dan Weiss, who directed the 73rd and final episode with fellow showrunner David Benioff, told&nbsp;Entertainment Weekly.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Rating aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes revealed on Sunday that the eight and the final season of 'Game Of Thrones' has merely got a 77% rating and since only an episode is left- it is unlikely that the ratings will pick up. Jon also left behind his best friend Samwell Tarly, his sisters (Sansa and Arya) and all others who looked up to him at his home in Winterfell but what hurt fans the most was the way he left Ghost.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Jon was shown talking to Tormund that when he leaves for North of the Wall, he must take Ghost with him as a dire wolf has no place in the South and so he can’t take the animal with him. Jon didn’t pet him, nor did he go close to him; basically there was lack of any love and compassion between two characters who have been together since season 1 of the show.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As fans have complained and asked for answers as to why Jon did not do what is expected of anyone who has a pet, the series director David Nutter has finally opened up and solved the mystery.&nbsp;</p>

<p>'The Spanish Princess', a British-American production based on two books by Philippa Gregory, stars 'Game of Thrones'&nbsp;actress Charlotte Hope in the title role and Stephanie Levi-John as her black lady-in-waiting, Lina de Cardonnes.</p>

<p>Cast members, who also include Laura Carmichael from 'Downton Abbey', say the show is different from past costume-dramas thanks to its all-inclusive perspective.</p>

<p>"We get an opportunity to tell (history) from the perspective of women and to tell the stories of black people," Hope told Reuters in an interview.</p>

<p>"I think it's not only really important but also really exciting that we get to explore something that hasn't been explored yet."</p>

<p>Catherine of Aragon (1485-1536) was betrothed to Arthur, the Prince of Wales and heir apparent to the English throne, as a young child.</p>

<p>The eight-part series follows her journey from sunny Spain to grey and drizzly England. When Arthur suddenly falls ill and dies five months into their marriage, Catherine finds herself a widower in a strange land, aged only 16.</p>

<p>Seven years later, after receiving the blessing of the pope on the premise her marriage to Arthur was never consummated, Catherine is married to his younger brother, who has just been made the king.</p>

In a particular scene, Dany who appears to be upset at the attention that Jon's been receiving can be seen seated and eying her man with displeasure. The scene also has a coffee cup placed right in front of actress Emilia Clarke- clearly Dany's choice of beverage is different from the rest of the people. The queen prefers coffee instead of wine or ale, it seems!&nbsp;</p>

<p>This week on Saturday Night Live, we were served just that as characters of the pop culture did a parody sketch of the classic show Family Feud. As most call it, it was a mashup with Kenan Thompson taking over the role of Steve Harvey, or ‘Steve of House Mustache’ &nbsp;(as he identified himself), while SNL regulars dressed up as fan favourite characters from the biggest franchises of this decade.</p>

<p>While Thor (Alex Moffat), Thanos flaunting his Infinity Gauntlet (Beck Bennett), Okoye (Ego Nwodim) and Groot (Leslie Jones) represented the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ team, the ‘Game of Thrones’ side consisted of Ser Brienne of Tarth (Kate McKinnon), Tormund Giantsbane (Mickey Day), Melisandre (Cecily Strong) and Bran Stark (Kyle Mooney).</p>

<p>Thompson who was dressed as Harvey introduced the show and said, “All right, let’s start with the Avengers because this show is just like their movies: We’re going to open with 45 minutes of introductions.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>It then followed an introduction to the ‘1,000-year-old witch Melisandre’, who said that the skit is "dark and full of terrors".</p>

Saturday Night Live just served us a crossover of 'Avengers: Endgame' and 'Game of Thrones'

<p>While waiting for another episode of 'Game of Thrones', diehard followers have created a new social media challenge inspired by the 'lethal' move delivered by fan favourite Arya Stark in the third chapter of the epic fantasy series.<br />

Arya, played by Maisie Williams, started trending on Twitter over the weekend after the character pulled off what could be described as one of the most shocking and iconic moments in the history of the HBO series.<br />
<br />
As the 'GOT' fever peaked, the next couple of days saw fans create their own renditions of the 'killer' move under the hashtags, such as #NotToday, #AryaChallenge and #TheArya.&nbsp;<br />

<a href="https://www.wionews.com/entertainment/game-of-thrones-season-8-episode-3-will-leave-you-with-a-smile-as-arya-stark-comes-down-heavy-on-night-king-214363">In the latest episode, titled 'The Long Night',</a> Arya expertly manoeuvred her Valerian steel dagger to strike an exceptional blow during an intense fight sequence in the Battle of Winterfell, something which majority of ardent fans did not see coming.<br />

People also shared a clip pointing out Arya already lent an insight into her skill set way back in the seventh season when she successfully sparred with Ser Brienne of Tarth.<br />

As multiple fan theories started doing the rounds on social media about what the future now holds for Westeros, the move went viral with people sharing their videos impersonating Arya and trying out her knife trick using household items.</p>

<p>In one of the clips, in slow motion, a man is seen brushing his hair from his left hand. He later drops it and catches the brush in his right hand and goes back to nonchalantly brushing again.<br />

"I had to do it," he wrote in Spanish with Arya Stark and 'Game of Thrones'&nbsp;as hashtags.<br />

Another video shows a woman wearing a hoodie holding a long knife in her left hand who then goes on to simultaneously faux strangle herself and drops the kitchen tool, only to almost hurt her right hand catching it.<br />

Arya, played by Maisie Williams, started trending on Twitter over the weekend after the character pulled off what could be described as one of the most shocking and iconic moments in the history of the HBO series. As the 'GOT' fever peaked, the next couple of days saw fans create their own renditions of the 'killer' move under the hashtags, such as #NotToday, #AryaChallenge and #TheArya. In the latest episode, titled 'The Long Night', Arya expertly manoeuvred her Valerian steel dagger to strike an exceptional blow during an intense fight sequence in the Battle of Winterfell, something which majority of ardent fans did not see coming. People also shared a clip pointing out Arya already lent an insight into her skill set way back in the seventh season when she successfully sparred with Ser Brienne of Tarth. As multiple fan theories started doing the rounds on social media about what the future now holds for Westeros, the move went viral with people sharing their videos impersonating Arya and trying out her knife trick using household items. In one of the clips, in slow motion, a man is seen brushing his hair from his left hand. He later drops it and catches the brush in his right hand and goes back to nonchalantly brushing again. "I had to do it," he wrote in Spanish with Arya Stark and 'Game of Thrones' as hashtags. <p>‘Game of Thrones’ season 8 episode 3 was huge in every aspect. It was the<a href="https://www.wionews.com/entertainment/game-of-thrones-season-8-episode-3-will-leave-you-with-a-smile-as-arya-stark-comes-down-heavy-on-night-king-214363"> biggest battle that we ever saw on TV</a>, was the longest episode on the show and it brought us to a crazy ending as Arya Stark killed Night King towards the end. This is something that no one ever expected as Arya (played by Maisie Williams) was always shown as a skilled assassin but not someone who would kill the ultimate villain.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The 22-year-old was interviewed by Entertainment Weekly after the episode went on air. On the episode she said, “It was so unbelievably exciting,” she said, adding: “But I immediately thought that everybody would hate it; that Arya doesn’t deserve it. The hardest thing is in any series is when you build up a villain that’s so impossible to defeat and then you defeat them.”</p>

<p>She continued: “It has to be intelligently done because otherwise people are like, ‘Well, [the villain] couldn’t have been that bad when some 100-pound girl comes in and stabs him.’ You gotta make it cool.
