<p>The survey canvassed a national list of over 800 registered voters from August 17 to 20. Participants were asked if they had ever invested in crypto or non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and if they’ve ever traded stocks, options, or crypto on Robinhood or E*Trade.</p>

<p>As per the survey, crypto holders are 50 per cent more inclined to back Trump, while just 38 per cent are likely to cast their vote for Harris.</p>

<p>“Trump has been reaching out to the crypto community, and it seems to have paid off,” Dan Cassino, the executive director of the poll at FDU, said.</p>

<p>“It might be easy to dismiss them as insignificant, but I don’t think people realise exactly how widespread crypto ownership is,” he added.</p>

<p>Crypto owners now represent 50 million Americans, making them a crucial segment of the electorate. Candidates are mindful of their increasing political influence, with Trump wooing crypto voters at a recent Bitcoin conference in Nashville, Tennessee. On stage, Trump vowed to create a strategic bitcoin reserve and free Ross Ulbricht, who is currently imprisoned for his role as the founder of the drug marketplace Silk Road.</p>

<p>"When Mattis visited Islamabad in the coming weeks, the Pentagon was going to deliver a military aid package that included more than USD 150 million worth of armoured vehicles."</p>

<p>“Immediate access to such a forum is imperative and of the utmost urgency,” Trump’s attorneys stated. “Federal institutional interests associated with the Presidency, Congressional and FEC regulation of federal elections, and the integrity of the upcoming 2024 Presidential election are at stake.”</p>

<p>Former United States President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign was warned not to take photographs at Arlington National Cemetery before the altercation, during a wreath-laying ceremony, reported the Associated Press (AP) citing a defence official, on Thursday (Aug 29).&nbsp;</p>

<p>Trump was invited to Arlington, a resting place for over 400,000 service members, veterans and their families, by some of the families of the 13 service members who lost their lives in the Kabul airport bombing three years ago.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Republican presidential candidate&nbsp;has been facing severe criticism after he was seen giving a thumbs up and smiling pose in a photo at America's most sacred cemetery. Netizens have been reacting to the image since then.&nbsp;</p>

<p>An anti-Trump group, The Lincoln Project, posted, "Trump today with thumbs up at the grave of a soldier. Disgraceful."&nbsp;</p>

<p>This comes a day after NPR reported, citing a relevant source, that two Trump campaign staff members "verbally abused and pushed" aside a cemetery official who tried to stop them from filming and photographing in Section 60, where the military personnel who were killed during the war of Afghanistan and Iraq, were buried.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The defence official, on a condition of anonymity, discussed the matter and said that the Trump campaign was initially warned about not taking photographs in Section 60 before their arrival and the altercation.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Cemetery officials respond</strong></h2>

<p>However, cemetery officials responded to the inquiry and shared a statement, stating, that “an incident” had occurred and a report had been filed, but it did not address details of what had happened. Moreover, they declined to share the report.</p>

<p>“Federal law prohibits political campaign or election-related activities within Army National Military Cemeteries, to include photographers, content creators or any other persons attending for purposes, or in direct support of a partisan political candidate’s campaign,” the cemetery officials’ statement said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Arlington National Cemetery reinforced and widely shared this law and its prohibitions with all participants. We can confirm there was an incident, and a report was filed," it added.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>'Private photographer was permitted on the premises'</strong></h2>

<p>On the contrary, Trump's spokesperson Steven Cheung said the Republican presidential candidate's team was permitted to have a photographer. He further contested the allegation that a campaign staffer pushed a cemetery official.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“The fact is that a private photographer was permitted on the premises and for whatever reason, an unnamed individual, clearly suffering from a mental health episode, decided to physically block members of President Trump’s team during a very solemn ceremony,” he said.</p>

The new indictment, however, does not really change the criminal case against him. In fact, it gives Trump protection from arrest in the wake of a July US Supreme Court ruling saying that all US presidents have immunity for official acts but not unofficial ones.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Today, a federal grand jury in the District of Columbia returned a superseding indictment, charging the defendant with the same criminal offenses that were charged in the original indictment," lawyers for Jack Smith, the special counsel handling the case, said.</p>

<p>"The superseding indictment, which was presented to a new grand jury that had not previously heard evidence in this case, reflects the Government’s efforts to respect and implement the Supreme Court’s holdings and remand instructions in Trump v United States."</p>

What did the federal judge say? Judge Barker while suspending the initiative said that the 67-page complaint filed last week raised legitimate questions about the authority of the executive branch to bypass Congress and set immigration policy. "The claims are substantial and warrant closer consideration than the court has been able to afford to date." wrote Judge Barker who was appointed by former US President Donald Trump.
