<p>After bagging a Brit Award for the 'Producer of the Year' category, chart-topping DJ David Guetta said that "the future of music is in AI but only as a tool". The French producer revealed&nbsp;that he thinks musicians will use Artificial Intelligence as a tool to create new sounds in the future because "every new music style comes from a new technology".</p>

<p>Guetta's comments came days after he used two artificial intelligence sites to create lyrics and rap in the style of American rapper Eminem for a live show.</p>

<p>In conversation with BBC music correspondent Mark Savage at the Brit Awards, Guetta said, "I'm sure the future of music is in AI. For sure. There's no doubt. But as a tool."</p>

<p>"Nothing is going to replace the taste," Guetta continued. "What defines an artist is, you have a certain taste, you have a certain type of emotion you want to express, and you're going to use all the modern instruments to do that."</p>

<p>Comparing&nbsp;AI to instruments that have led to musical revolutions in the past, Guetta said, "Probably there would be no rock 'n' roll if there was no electric guitar. There would be no acid house without the Roland TB-303 [bass synthesiser] or the Roland TR-909 drum machine. There would be no hip-hop without the sampler."</p>

<p>The DJ reiterated, "I think really AI might define new musical styles. I believe that every new music style comes from a new technology."</p>

<p>Last week, Guetta posted a video on Twitter and said that he created the Eminem-style vocal "as a joke" but it worked so well he could not believe it.</p>

<p>He told BBC that he posted the video because he wanted to open the discussion and bring awareness. "It's very funny, actually, because a lot of people are reacting. Some of them are like, 'Oh, this is genius.' Some of them are getting super mad at me, but I'm not going to release the record. It is impossible to think that it's a real collab, but it sounds exactly like him [Eminem]," he said.</p>

<p>“I’m going to do the vaccine, and I hope people are going to do it too because I don’t see any other way to go out of this situation,” Guetta told Reuters ahead of recording the gig.</p>

<p>France, with 2,57 million cases and more than 64,000 dead, is one of the hardest-hit countries in Europe and in the world by the pandemic.</p>

<p>But the French are among the most sceptical about vaccines in the world, with opinion polls showing less than half the population intends to get a COVID shot.</p>

<p>France launched its COVID-19 vaccine roll-out on Sunday, along with other European Union nations.</p>

<p>Guetta said he hoped for an end to the pandemic in 2021 and one big, mad party.</p>

<p>“I’m just making music for fun, like I was doing when I was 17, you know, and, and it’s amazing ... it’s one of the best moments of my life when it comes to enjoying and making music and being inspired.”</p>

<p>The Best Electronic nominee prerecorded his EMAs performance in Budapest. He described his set as “pretty spectacular” and said he was “really, really impressed” with the show.</p>

<p>It will be the latest of several virtual performances since March, including two United at Home charity livestream events from Miami and New York in April and May which raised $1.5 million for coronavirus relief.</p>

<p>Guetta admitted that not having a live audience was hard. “I connect a lot with the crowd, you know, that’s probably what made me successful more than anything. So, I missed that connection.”</p>

<p>According to <b><i>News18.com</i></b> on Saturday, Delhi police will explain the reasons behind the cancellation of the concert &mdash; scheduled for Sunday, January 15 &mdash; to the festival organisers.</p>

<p>ANI reported that the cancellation was due to lack of requisite clearance because of which the Delhi police rejected permission for the Sunburn Festival in the capital city.</p>

<p>The&nbsp;<em>News18</em>&nbsp;report also said that the lack of security personnel was because of the Republic Day parade preparations. Intelligence agencies have reportedly instructed the Delhi police to not let big congregations take place before January 26.</p>

<p>In a tweet posted on Friday, Sunburn Festival had said that the Grammy-winning star would perform in Mumbai and Delhi on the same day.</p>
