Celebrity chef Todd English is facing serious allegations in a bombshell lawsuit, which claims that he sexually assaulted and abused a woman in 2015. His ex-girlfriend Wenjie Song has also been named in the lawsuit.

Filed by Kelly Forman in New York State Supreme Court on September 24, the lawsuit details the alleged abuse that left her with "severe burns and permanent nerve damage".

Forman, who suffers from a traumatic brain injury caused by an unrelated equestrian accident, alleges she was drugged and assaulted by English and Song after a dinner party in April 2015. The suit claims that English forcibly kissed Forman multiple times despite her protests, and later, both English and Song attempted to engage her in unwanted sexual activity.

The lawsuit also alleges that Forman woke up the next morning with severe burns and a vaginal tear, with no memory of how the injuries occurred. Doctors later confirmed third-degree burns, which the suit claims were likely inflicted while she was drugged and unconscious.

“There were six gaping holes in her left forearm; the skin surrounding the holes in her arm was black and dead,” the suit alleges. “Ms Forman could see the heinous wounds but did not have any sensation of feeling on her left forearm. Ms. Forman also realized that she had suffered a painful vaginal tear that did not exist prior to her waking up in the loft.”

In the lawsuit, Forman further alleges that the assault left her with lasting physical and emotional trauma. The lawsuit also had photos of her injuries attached.

English, who is known for his upscale Olives restaurants and multiple TV appearances, vehemently denies the claims. His attorney, Bryan Sullivan, called the allegations "outrageous" and described the lawsuit as a "frivolous money grab."

People's Choice Country Awards 2024 winners list: Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs and more

Cooper Koch, who recently played Erik Menendez in the Netflix series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story helmed by Ryan Murphy, has spoken out in support of the Menendez brothers after visiting them in prison. Koch described the brothers as "upstanding individuals" during his visit to the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility near San Diego. He was accompanied by Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kris Jenner.

Koch told Variety that when he first met Erik, they "immediately embraced" and shared a kind connection. He also met Lyle and said he was grateful to be in the presence of both brothers. The visit took place on Saturday (September 21).

The Menendez brothers came into the spotlight in 1989 after they shot and killed their parents Jose and Kitty Menendez in their Beverly Hills home. They claimed the killings were in response to years of sexual abuse by their father, which their mother ignored. However, authorities believed their motive was greed, noting their lavish spending right after the murders.

In 1996, Lyle and Erik were convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole. Their first trial ended in a deadlock, which is basically when the jury cannot reach a unanimous decision.

Koch believes the brothers deserve a new trial. He explained that back then it was difficult for people to understand that male-on-male sexual abuse could occur, especially between a father and son. He argued that today, with more knowledge of child abuse, the brothers' case should be reconsidered.

After the series premiere, Erik Menendez took to social media to criticise it, calling Monsters "rooted in horrible and blatant lies." He accused Ryan Murphy of knowingly sharing false information about his and Lyle’s lives.

Koch said he discussed Erik’s feelings about the show during the prison visit. He also noted how difficult it must be to have such a traumatic event in their lives portrayed on TV.

Koch also shared that the Menendez brothers have been doing positive work in prison. Erik teaches meditation and speech classes and both brothers are involved in the Greenspace project to improve the prison grounds.

One of the men responsible for the 2021 killing of rapper Young Dolph has been sentenced to life in prison. On Thursday, September 26, Justin Johnson was found guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Young Dolph, born Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., was shot and killed at the age of 36 outside Makeda’s Butter Cookies, a local business in Memphis, on November 17, 2021. After nearly four hours of jury deliberation, Johnson was convicted on all counts and received a life sentence.

During the four-day trial, co-defendant Cornelius Smith testified that he and Johnson were offered $40,000 each to shoot the rapper. Smith revealed that Hernandez Govan was the main culprit who organised the "hit". Smith alleges that he was following instructions from Anthony Mims aka Big Jook, the brother of Memphis rapper Yo Gotti.

Mims was allegedly supposed to pay Govan $10,000 for the murder. Mims himself was shot and killed in Memphis in January and no arrests have been made in connection to his death.

Following the verdict, Young Dolph's sister Carlissa Thornton shared an emotional statement with the media.

"On November 17, 2021, our lives changed forever. A son, a father, a brother, a friend, a businessman, a music artist, a philanthropist, and life partner are among just some of the titles that my brother Adolph Robert Thornton Jr. held. Titles that have now left a missing piece in the lives of so many. I want to thank the jury for their service and decision in this case to bring us one step closer to justice for our family, friends, supporters, and the community that has supported us during this time," she said.

“We ask that instead of focusing on those who committed this crime, you focus on that man that Adolph Robert Thornton was... We ask you to remember the man who enjoyed being a father and spending time with his family. We ask that you remember the man who enjoyed giving opportunities to those who were often overlooked and counted out,” Thornton added.

Sean "Diddy" Combs is reportedly selling off his assets at a loss to cover mounting legal fees after his arrest on Monday. According to the latest reports, the music mogul is struggling financially and has begun selling his properties at lower prices as his legal troubles pile up.

Diddy has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transporting people for prostitution. He remains in jail after being denied bail twice.

A Michigan judge recently ordered Diddy to pay $100 million in a civil lawsuit. The case involves accusations that Diddy drugged and sexually assaulted a man named Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith during a party in Detroit 27 years ago.

Cardello-Smith, who is currently serving a 75-year sentence for other crimes, claimed Diddy spiked his drink and assaulted him while he was unconscious. Diddy denied the allegations but didn’t fight the lawsuit, which eventually led to a settlement where he had to pay him $10 million a month.

Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing a series of civil lawsuits alleging a range of abusive behaviors including sexual harassment, rape, nonconsensual pornography, and sex trafficking. The legal saga began in November 2023 when singer Cassie Ventura, Combs' former partner, filed a federal lawsuit alleging a pattern of physical and sexual abuse throughout their relationship.

Ventura claimed Combs controlled her life, subjected her to violent beatings, and forced her to have sex with other men while he watched and recorded. She also accused him of raping her in 2018. The lawsuit was settled within a day, with both parties agreeing to undisclosed terms.

Following Ventura's lawsuit, three more women and one man came forward with similar allegations against Combs. Liza Gardner accused Combs of sexually assaulting her in 1990 or 1991, while Joi Dickerson-Neal alleged he drugged and assaulted her in 1991.

Another anonymous woman, referred to as Jane Doe, accused Combs and his associates of gang-raping her in 2003 when she was 17 years old. Additionally, producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones accused Combs of sexual harassment, drugging, and threatening him.

Combs has denied all the accusations, calling them baseless and outrageous.

Also read: Doja Cat addresses engagement rumours with Joseph Quinn in now-deleted tweet Ventura claimed Combs controlled her life, subjected her to violent beatings, and forced her to have sex with other men while he watched and recorded.

And the easiest way to achieve this was to partake in the hippy offerings! So there I was, still in my teens, gamely taking long pulls from their chillum for take after take. By the time we wrapped the day’s work, I was high as a kite! I was in no state to return to the hotel in that happy, dizzy, and slightly formless haze. So some of the team members packed me into a car and took me on a drive to a beautiful vantage point. There in the cold mountain air, I contemplated the Himalayas and slowly, peacefully came down from my high.”

In the caption, she revealed that she was stoned for the most part of the song's shooting because Dev Anand wanted "authenticity" in the song. “We were in Kathmandu shooting Hare Rama Hare Krishna, and Dev Saab had rounded up a gaggle of hippies from the streets to be featured in the song. Which song? The picture is a dead giveaway - Dum Maro Dum of course!” wrote the veteran actress. She added, “The hippy extras were delighted with their good fortune. They were not only getting to pack their chillums with hashish in beautiful Nepal, they were also getting free food, going to feature in a Bollywood movie, and were being paid to boot!” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Zeenat Aman (@thezeenataman) Recalling how Dev Anand asked her to be authentic for the song, she said, “Now Dev Saab wanted authenticity in this sequence.
Hollywood star Demi Moore recently took a trip down memory lane and recalled the intense workout routine she imposed on herself after the birth of her second daughter Scout Willis in 1991. At the time, Moore was living in Malibu, California with her then-husband Bruce Willis.

During the filming of Indecent Proposal, the actress decided to cycle 30 miles to and from work each day. "I was feeding [Scout] through the night, getting up in the dark with a trainer, cycling all the way to Paramount, even on the location where we were shooting; then shooting a full day, which is usually 12 hours, and then starting all over again," Moore shared in a recent interview on CBS Sunday Morning.

She recalled that Scout was only five or six months old during the film’s production. Moore also admitted to placing unrealistic expectations on herself regarding her post-pregnancy recovery. "I put so much pressure on myself," said the 61-year-old Ghost star. "I had experiences where I was told to lose weight. While those moments were embarrassing and humiliating, it’s what I did to myself because of that."

Reflecting on her extreme efforts, Moore said, "Even just the idea of what I did to my body - it’s so crazy, so ridiculous." She went on to add that snapping back into shape after childbirth "probably" didn’t matter that much though at the time it felt like “everything”.

During her 13-year marriage to Bruce Willis, Moore welcomed three daughters. She gave birth to Rumer in 1988, Scout in 1991 and Tallulah in 1994. The couple parted ways in 2000.

Pop singer Chappell Roan, whose rise to stardom has been nothing short of meteoric, recently revealed her struggle with severe depression. In a new interview, the 26-year-old singer opened up about her mental health battle and how fame has changed her life.

“I went to a psychiatrist last week because I was like, I don’t know what’s going on,” Roan told The Guardian. “She diagnosed me with severe depression – which I didn’t think I had because I’m not actually sad. But I have every symptom of someone who’s severely depressed.”

Roan described her symptoms, which include brain fog, forgetfulness, poor focus and what she called “a very lacklustre viewpoint” on life. She believes her mental health issues stem from how quickly her life has changed over the past year as she transitioned from being an underground pop sensation to a global superstar.

“Everything that I really love to do now comes with baggage,” she explained, reflecting on how her new fame has altered even simple activities. “If I want to go thrifting, I have to book security and prepare myself that this is not going to be normal. Going to the park, pilates, yoga – how do I do this in a safe way where I’m not going to be stalked or harassed?”

Roan has been open with her fans about the challenges of handling her sudden fame. In June, during a concert, she admitted that she was “having a really hard time” adjusting to the pressures of her new life. In August, she spoke out against the aggressive behaviour of some fans. On TikTok, she expressed her frustration with those who harass her in public or expect her to always be available for photos and interactions.

“I don’t care that abuse and harassment, stalking, whatever, is a normal thing to do to people who are famous or a little famous,” Roan said in her TikTok video. “I don’t give a f–k if you think it’s selfish of me to say no for a photo or for your time or for a hug – that’s not normal, that’s weird!”

Roan insisted that it’s not the fame she’s upset about but the mistreatment that often comes with it. “I feel like fame is just abusive,” she said in a recent interview. “The vibe of this – stalking, talking s–t online, [people who] won’t leave you alone, yelling at you in public – is the vibe of an abusive ex-husband.”

Chappell Roan’s career breakthrough came with the release of her first full album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.

Kim Kardashian recently visited the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility near San Diego to meet with a group of around 40 inmates, including notorious criminals Erik and Lyle Menéndez. The reality star and criminal justice reform advocate was accompanied by her sister Khloé Kardashian, mother Kris Jenner, film producer Scott Budnick and actor Cooper Koch, who portrays Erik in Netflix's new series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss ongoing prison reform efforts. Greenspace, a project focused on improving prison environments by beautifying prison yards to aid in the rehabilitation of inmates, was a major topic of discussion during the visit. The project is led by Lyle Menéndez with his brother Erik also plays a significant role.

While Kim's visit aimed to shed light on reform, it came shortly after Erik criticised Netflix’s new biopic series produced by Ryan Murphy, which recounts the infamous case of the Menéndez brothers. Erik condemned the show as "naive and inaccurate," particularly for omitting the brothers' allegations of abuse against their father José Menéndez. He claimed the series unfairly portrayed him and Lyle in the worst possible light.

"I believed we had moved beyond the lies and ruinous character portrayals of Lyle, creating a caricature of Lyle rooted in horrible and blatant likes rampant in the show," said Erik. "I can only believe they were done so on purpose. It is with a heavy heart that I say, I believe Ryan Murphy cannot be this naive and inaccurate about the facts of our lives so as to do this without bad intent."

"It is sad for me to know that Netflix’s dishonest portrayal of the tragedies surrounding our crime had taken the painful truths several steps backwards — back through time to an era when the prosecution built a narrative on a belief system that males were not sexually abused, and that males experienced rape trauma differently than women," he continued. "Those awful lies have been disrupted and exposed by countless brave victims over the last two decades who have broken through their personal shame and bravely spoken out."

"So now Murphy shapes his horrible narrative through vile and appalling character portrayals of Lyle and of me and disheartening slander. Is the truth not enough?" concluded Erik.

Diljit Dosanjh adds new shows to Dil-Luminati India Tour after ticket row

Salma Hayek is experiencing bittersweet emotions as her daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault celebrated her 17th birthday on Saturday. In a heartfelt post on IG, the 58-year-old shared adorable memories of her little munchkin over the years but also expressed her sadness at the thought of Valentina leaving home soon.

In the IG post, Hayek shared photos and clips of Valentina growing up. She shared special moments from her early childhood all the way to her teenage years. One clip featured Valentina sitting in the backseat of a car with playful cat-like face paint while another showed her wearing a fun red hat and goggles.

However, Hayek’s caption is what really struck an emotional chord with her fans. She wrote, "My baby’s last birthday at home (for now)," revealing that Valentina will be moving away from home in the near future. The actress admitted she’s already feeling “separation anxiety”.

Erik Menendez has come forward to express his disappointment with his portrayal in Ryan Murphy's latest true-crime anthology series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. The series premiered on Netflix on Thursday.

In a statement shared on Lyle's Facebook page, Erik called out the series' "inaccurate" depiction of the trial he and his brother underwent in 1989 for the murders of their parents José and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menéndez.
