<p>World number four Okuhara had no answers to the aggressive approach from the Indian shuttler in the contest that lasted for just 36 minutes.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Sindhu is also the first Indian to become a world champion. This is Sindhu's fifth world championship medal, two of them silvers and two of them bronze.&nbsp;</p>
