"I'd look at it from who you want to perform individually against. I look at India at the moment… and it's like playing golf against your boss. You're allowed to win but just in the right way. You know, we stitched them up in New Zealand a couple of times and it always felt a little bit dirty afterwards. It didn't feel like we'd really beaten them," Richardson said on Spark Sport.

Richardson feels that England, Australia and India are the best when it comes to international cricket. He said: "England, yes… they invented the game and you're always playing for your place as a cricket team, I guess. But Australia to me was like the proving ground for a New Zealand cricketer. You went there to prove your mettle and I did it and I'll take that to the grave actually. I'd probably still need help over what happened in Australia. I think they still hold it over us. The 30-year-old stated that he wouldn't fret sitting out as long as the group is winning. He further expressed that the team holding among the current squad is solid to the point that he has consistently felt like an essential part of the group in any event, when not playing.&nbsp;

“Even if I am not playing and the team wins, I am equally happy. I played one-dayers in New Zealand last year after six months. But I was confident since I was bowling well in the nets and was traveling with the team as well. I was never made to feel that I was not part of the team even when I was not playing. So all that helps keep your confidence intact” - he concluded.

According to a report in The Times of India, the BCCI has held talks with the ECB to tweak the five-Test series and carve out a window for IPL 2021, which had to be postponed indefinitely after 29 matches as multiple COVID-19 cases emerged within the players and staff in the bio-secure bubble.&nbsp;

“BCCI and the ECB are in discussions to tweak the five-Test series. Details of those discussions aren’t public yet. But in whichever manner the ECB agrees to tweak the Test series, they will want the IPL in England because the counties can earn from it. There’ll be a good chance of a quid pro quo,” a source was quoted as saying by the Times of India.

“Only if costs are escalating to a point where it starts affecting stakeholders, the BCCI will consider the UAE as the second option for the IPL. On that front, we aren’t even discounting the idea of hosting the IPL in Sri Lanka,” the sources added.

However, a spokesman for the English cricket board told TOI that they did not receive any such requests.&nbsp;

"We talk to the BCCI on a regular basis about a wide range of issues especially as we address the challenges of Covid-19, but have had no official request to change dates and are continuing to plan for the five Test series as is scheduled."

The five-match Test series will commence on August 4 and the venues will be Nottingham, Lord's, Leeds, Oval and Old Trafford. The series will take place after World Test Championship Finals between India and New Zealand that will be played at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.

A former coach of the Indian Women’s Team from July-November 2018, it was under him that India qualified for the semi-final of the ICC T20 Women’s World Cup in 2018 and also won 14 T20 matches in a row.

He recently coached the Mumbai senior team that won the Vijay Hazare Trophy and has worked at the National Cricket Academy as a Bowling Coach.

Powar’s last term as the head coach of the Indian women’s team was cut short after a spat with ODI skipper Mithali Raj. However, it would be interesting to see how both Powar and Mithali continue in the 50-over circuit.

As I said earlier, if they're playing in different cities, that is when the risk goes up," Hussey told Fox Cricket.

"I think they'll have to look some pretty big contingency plans, perhaps looking at the UAE or somewhere like that that could host the World T20. I think there will be a lot of cricket boards around the world that'd be pretty nervous about going back to India for a cricket tournament," he added.

India are doing what even Australia couldn't do in their peak. And the move makes sense given the isolation protocols and everything, and it couldn't have been possible to send the same team to both countries in such a gap," the former Pakistan captain added.

According to Inzamam, there will be no difference in quality and talent between the two teams.&nbsp;

"India at this time have so much strength that they are capable of doing this. Their pool of players is so huge that they are able to manage this. If you look at the players who would be travelling to Sri Lanka, it would appear as if this is India's main team, such is their bench strength," said Inzamam.

He lauded India's domestic structure that has helped Team India form two different teams.&nbsp;

"India have improved their First-Class structure and then there is the IPL as well that has helped assemble two different teams at the same time. It's almost as if India have prepared 50 guys who are ready to play for the national team," he added.

Team India is set to play a single Test against the hosts beginning on 16 June. This will be trailed by three ODIs that will be played on 27 June, 30 June, and 03 July.

For the Test and ODIs, the selectors declared an 18-member squad drove by Mithali Raj. The selectors have offered freedoms to some new faces in the longest format of the game.
