Tiff between ICC and BCCI could force India to pull out of Champion's Trophy: Report

India might not play in the upcoming Champions Trophy due to differences between the International Cricket Council and the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Sportskeeda said in a report.

“BCCI reserves its rights to take all necessary decisions to exercise the rights under the Members Participation Agreement (MPA),” a source close to the BCCI told Sportskeeda.

The differences are over a new ICC constitution that looks to limit India’s share of revenue and power under The Big Three proposal, which involves the BCCI along with the cricket boards of Australia and England. The proposal guarantees the three boards a major share of the global revenues and gives them a larger say in administrative actions.
