<p>In a low-scoring thriller, Australia's batsmen kept their nerve to overcome India by four wickets. With one match to spare, the host team chased down a target of 119 in 19.1 overs to win the multi-format series.</p>

<p>Australia won the ODI series 2-1, drew the Test, and now has won the series with this win in the second T20I.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Harmanpreet Kaur, speaking at the post-match presentation, said: "We were 20 runs short, but the wicket wasn't an easy one to bat on. We had a good game. We didn't give them easy runs. We fought till the end. Would want the team to take more responsibility."</p>

<p>Batting first, an awaited Pooja Vastrakar cameo was the only silver lining for the Indian team.</p>

<p>The Australia-India women’s ODI series slated for next month has been postponed to next season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cricket Australia said on Thursday.</p>

<p>CA boss Nick Hockley said Australia would host India’s women next season with three extra Twenty20 internationals added to the schedule on top of the three ODIs originally earmarked for January.</p>

<p>“We had initially hoped to play India this summer, however the impact of the global pandemic made it necessary to postpone until next season,” Hockley said in a media release.</p>

<p>Australia are currently hosting the India men’s team in a four-test series.</p>

<p>Australia defeated India in the women’s T20 World Cup final in March at the Melbourne Cricket Ground the last time the teams met.</p>

CA boss Nick Hockley said Australia would host India’s women next season with three extra Twenty20 internationals added to the schedule on top of the three ODIs originally earmarked for January. “We had initially hoped to play India this summer, however the impact of the global pandemic made it necessary to postpone until next season,” Hockley said in a media release. Australia are currently hosting the India men’s team in a four-test series. Australia defeated India in the women’s T20 World Cup final in March at the Melbourne Cricket Ground the last time the teams met.

<p>Indian opener Smriti Mandhana's quickfire 66 runs off 37 balls was overpowered by Australian spinner Jess Jonassen's five-wicket haul which helped Australia defend a challenging total.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Australia won the toss and chose to bat. Beth Mooney scored the most for the team (71 runs). Australia made good use of the last over. India's Rajeshwari Gayakwad conceded 19 runs in the final over.&nbsp;</p>
