<p>The airline will increase its fleet size to 28 aircraft during the upcoming fiscal year. Dube&nbsp;emphasised that the company prioritises steady growth rather than "growth for the sake of growth," and that by the end of the summer, the airline will increase its daily flight operations from the current 110 (on 17 domestic routes) to 150.</p>

<p>By the end of the following fiscal year, the current 2,000-person workforce will increase to 3,000, Dube projected, and comprise 1,100 pilots and flight attendants. For planes that are set to begin flying in three months, the airline always makes advance hirings.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The CEO stated that the airline's three main objectives are to provide employees and customers with sustained levels of satisfaction and to do so with a stable price structure. This is made possible by the fact that the organisation, which calls itself as "India's most dependable airline," is not vying for top positions in the aviation industry or market influence.</p>

<p>He added&nbsp;that the airline was focusing on&nbsp;countries&nbsp;both in the east and west. "... we may want to fly to X cities, and there may be traffic rights available for that country, but in that particular airport, you may not have slots. All these permutations and combinations are being worked on right now,” he told PTI.</p>

<p>The new airline is the latest in "a huge package of projects" that will "consolidate our country's position as an international hub for aviation and a global logistics centre", Saudi transport minister Saleh Al-Jasser said on Twitter.</p>

<p>According to infectious disease experts, the policy would effectively track the coronavirus and narrow its entrance into the United States. Earlier this week, the US imposed new travel guidelines for international travel, including mandatory Covid tests for passengers from China, Reuters reported.</p>

<p>Test results of wastewater from airlines will paint a clearer picture of the mutations in the deadly coronavirus, as per Dr Eric Topol, a genomics expert and director of Scripps Research Translational Institute in La Jolla, California. Dr Topol refers to the policy as a 'good tactic.' He says that the US needs to elevate its methods due to China's lack of data transparency.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, China claims that the fusses over its COVID-19 statistics are unsupported. But other countries, like Italy, Japan, and France, have imposed strict travel restrictions for Chinese citizens or people travelling from China.&nbsp;</p>

<p>French researchers say requesting a mandatory negative COVID-19 report before onboarding international flights are unlikely to prevent coronavirus from spreading. As per a report, they found the Omicron variant in wastewater from two commercial aeroplanes that flew from Ethiopia to France in December 2021.</p>

<p>In July, California researchers also reported that wastewater samples in San Diego had Alpha, Delta, Epsilon, and Omicron variants.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As reported by CNN, Lufthansa has sold six of its A380s over the last couple of years and the airline has eight superjumbos remaining in its fleet. These aircraft are currently in "deep storage" in Spain and France. The German flag carrier says it's still assessing how many A380s will be reactivated, and is figuring out what routes they might fly on.</p>

<p>The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the demise of the world's largest jets, but the European double-decker is gaining a new lease of life as airlines scramble to cope with rising demand and shortages of newer models.</p>

<p>Singapore Airlines, meanwhile, acknowledged the passenger appeal of the superjumbo when announcing plans to reinstate the aircraft last year. "Some people just book the A380 specifically to fly on it," Siva Govindasamy, Singapore Airlines' global public affairs head, told CNN Travel.</p>
