
Five years earlier, twelve members of the Thai "Wild Boars" football team were stranded at the Tham Luang Cave in Mae Sai district in the northern province of Chiang Rai in Thailand.
They were later rescued during a rescue mission.

Five years late, on Monday, July 10, Thailand is celebrating the anniversary of the cave rescue mission.

This is a photograph of the twelve members of the football team that were rescued from the flooded cave.

Thailand celebrated a five year anniversary of the rescue mission on Monday, July 10. In order to mark the event, several light and dance performances were organised inside the cave premises.

Relatives and friends of members of the Thai "Wild Boars" youth football team also took part in the celebrations.
