Tracing the birth of British royal babies: From now Queen Elizabeth to youngest member Prince Louis

Britain's Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are expecting the birth of their first child this Spring, the latest addition to a royal family which traces its roots back to 1066. Meghan told royal well-wishers in January that she was six months pregnant, suggesting that the baby, who will be seventh-in-line to the throne, would arrive sometime in April.

Meanwhile, here's taking a look at the royal babies that the world has seen in Britain since the birth of now Queen Elizabeth.

Nanny holds baby Princess Elizabeth now Queen

On June 1, 1926, a massive crowd gathered to see the newborn baby Princess Elizabeth. She is now the current Queen Elizabeth II.

In the picture, she can be seen being carried by a nanny from her Mayfair home, to her christening at Buckingham Palace.

She was the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York, who would later be crowned King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.
