Shows that went off-air amid anti-racism protests

TV series 'Cops', one of the longest-running reality show that glorified police actions is been cancelled by paramount network permanently amid protests in America against police brutality on African-Americans. The show's 33rd season was to premiere on June 15. 

One of Hollywood's cult classic 'Gone With The Wind' which released in 1939, has been pulled down by HBO Max from its liberary temporarily amid racial protest. The film, which is based on Margaret Mitchell's 1936 book by the same name, has long been a point of discussion for its depiction of Black people and its positive view of slavery.

Netflix has removed British comedy series 'Little Britain' as the show faced a lot of criticism over the years for its portrayal of black and Asian characters by white men, with characters including a Caribbean woman called Desiree and a mail-order bride named Ting Tong.

Created by David Walliams and Matt Lucas, the comedy ran from year 2003 to 2007. 

Channel 4 ( British television network) removes 'Bo Selecta' episodes from its streaming platform over the use of blackface. This comes after Leigh Francis, who is now best known for playing Keith Lemon, made a tearful racism apology.

He portrayed celebrities such as Mel B, Craig David, Michael Jackson and Trisha Goddard using rubber masks in the early 2000s series

 A&E has also pulled down the episodes of its reality police show  'Body Cam' as the show features the actual footage of the daily activities of the police officers. 

Netflix has removed anathor British comedy series 'Come Fly With Me' over their use of blackface. As the characters from different ethnic backgrounds. The decision to pull the comes after the protests against police brutality and racism sparked by the killing of George Floyd. 

A&E network's cancelled its long running series and one of the highest-rated shows on basic cable 'Live P.D' in the wake of worldwide Black Lives Matter protest against systemic police brutality against African Americans.

The show follows the work of police departments for three hours and shows their patrols live, broadcasting select encounters with the nation. The show was hosted by Dan Abrams with analysis provided by Tom Morris Jr. and Sgt. Sean Larkin.
