RIP Wajid Khan: Here's taking a look at Salman Khan and late composer's best works

Bollywood music composer Wajid Khan of duo Sajid- Wajid died due to kidney-infection related complications today. Belting out some good music over the years, here's taking a close look at his relationship with Salman Khan as it's said that he started and ended his career with him.

Pyar Kiya toh darna Kya

Sajid-Wajid started their music carrer with Salman Khan starrer 'Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya'. The music of the whole film was credited to Himesh Reshammiya and Jatin-Lalit but the hit song 'Teri Jawaani' was by the duo brothers. 


Hello Brother

The very next year, the duo along with Himesh Reshammiya, composed for Salman-Khan's next film, 'Hello Brother'. Sajid-Wajid together composed the six tracks of the movie- 'Area Ka Hero', 'Hata Sawan Ki Ghata', 'Chupke Se Koi', 'Hello Brother' including a remix of 'Hata Sawan Ki Ghata' and 'Chupke Se Koi'.


Mujhse Shadi Karogi

Salman Khan's iconic towel dance in the song 'Jeene Ke Hai Chaar Din' is one of the most revered. Sajid-Wajid composed songs of the movie and also collabrated with Anu Malik for the hit film.

Some of the songs of the movie became so popular that fans like play it on loop even today.  


Tere Naam

Sajid-Wajid gave their music in Salman Khan's 'Tere Naam' as they collaborated with Himesh Reshamiya. 



Year 2004 was lucky for both Salman Khan and for Sajid -Wajid. After giving back to back hits in 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi', the duo worked on five songs for the movie 'Garv'.



The whole credit for the album of the hit movie 'Partner' goes to Sajid-Wajid. The duo composed the whole album solo, along with composing, Wajid also sang some of the songs from the movie with other singers including 'Soni De Nakhre', 'Do You Wanna Partner'. 



'Wanted' was marked as one of the come back movies for Salman Khan. The actor and Sajid-Wajid's patnership rocked this time too with then working together on tracks like  'Jalwa' and 'Love Me Love Me'.



Dabangg Frenchise

Sajid-Wajid remains constant for the three parts of the famous Salman Khan 'Dabangg' franchise, that started from 2010 till its third one in 2019. The duo has given some of the major hits from the franchise like 'PandeyJee Seeti', 'Fevicol Se', 'Hud Hud Dabangg' and 'Munni Badnam'.


Wajid's playback songs

Wajid Khan also did playback for Salman's chartbusters like 'Mera He Jalwa', 'Fevicol Se', 'PandeyJee Seeti', 'Mashallah' and 'Do You Wanna Partner' among others.
