Ranveer Singh gave his career-best performance as Alauddin Khilji in 'Padmaavat'. His powerful acting and the facial expressions are hard to forget. This Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial performed well at the box office and also stars Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor along with Singh. Singh played an antagonist and with his menacing act won hearts of his fans.
Bajirao Mastani
Ranveer Singh gave another fine performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani'. This was the actor and the director's second film together and Singh transformed into Maratha warrior Peshwa Baji Rao effortlessly. 'Bajirao Mastani' went on to become a huge box office success, and Ranveer's performance also earned him the Filmfare Award for the best actor, that year. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in the lead role.
Band Baaja Baaraat
Ranveer Singh made his debut in 2010 in Yashraj Films’ 'Band Baaja Baaraat'. Ranveer won hearts by playing a simple Delhi boy Bittoo Sharma. He was so natural as the Delhi boy that most thought he was born and raised in Delhi when in reality, Ranveer is from Mumbai.The movie performed well at the box office and also starred Anushka Sharma.

Ranveer delivered another stellar oerformance in Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' as a young Murad- a boy from Dharavi who dreams of becoming a rapper. The movie was a huge hit at the box office and co-starred Alia Bhatt, Kalki Koechlin and Vijay Raaz.
