International Dog day, check out stars who have given a luxury life to the rescue dogs

Chris Evan and his paw-buddy Dodger have all our hearts, always and forever. Evans, who might be still waiting for his better half to come and share a home. But, until she comes, his dog Dodger is there with him for every little thing he does and obviously with all his support - whether it's Netflix night, cute selfies, or long drives. 

Evans met Dodger when he was shooting for a movie scene in an animal shelter and from that day, both are living a happy life together. 

Welcome to the Royal family. Meghan and Harry, who are already proud parents of dogs, but most recently the royal couple adopted a 7-year-old dog Mia from an animal shelter. 

Mia was rescued from the breeding facility, as per Insider. 

In 2018, Zac Efron become a dog father. The actor adopted Maca from a Los Angeles-based pet shop and saved her from being euthanized (the practice to put an elderly animal to death).

Later, the pet shop shared the story of Maca on their IG account and wrote, “Tilly now MACA was being led to the kill room when we stepped in and said we would take her. She was turned around and brought to us! This guy named Zac Efron came in (we hear he is an actor, but we think he actually waits tables) and fell in love. He went through our application process and fostered MACA and just could not give her back. So MACA now lives with Zac! This is her happily ever after! Happy life MACA! Happy Life.'' 

Before becoming mom and dad of their little daughter MM! Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were proud parents of three dogs -  Gino, Panda and Diana.

Out of three dogs, Priyanka's Diana and Panda are adopted once. Talking about Diana, she's Priyanka's first dog and travellers with her everywhere she goes.  

The couple brought Panda home after their marriage. 

In October 2020, Jennifer Aniston introduced her new family member Lord Chesterfield to the world. 

The 'Friends' alum adopted the white little furry dog from the rescue centre and ever since then Aniston is living a happy life with her Lord, who is her yoga partner, apparently!

Ryan Reynolds and his dog Bexter have a very interesting story. 

Almost a decade back, Ryan visited a shelter house to adopt a dog for his friend and not for him. But eventually, Bexter caught his attention and instead of gifting him, he chose to keep him. 

“I saw this big, dumb-looking retriever staring up at me,” he told ABC News via People. “I whispered to him, ‘Hey, let’s get the hell out of here.’ And he jumped up, like he spoke English fluently. He came with me, he jumped in the car, and we’ve been best buddies ever since.”

Olivia Wilde and her ex-partner Jason Sudeikis adopted a small little furry puppy, who they named Elvis, years back. 

Wilde announced the new addition on her IG account, writing, ''Ladies and gentlemen, meet the heartbreaker formerly known as Maxamillion, now christened by his new human brother as Elvis Sudeikis-Wilde," she captioned the post.

"3 years young and 8 lbs of pure goodness. He's lived a pretty harrowing life so far, and we are so lucky he adopted us as his new family, so we can treat him like the king he was born to be," the actress added further.
