During his side's clash against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2019, then CSK captain MS Dhoni stormed onto the field after the on-field umpire backtracked on his no-ball decision. With CSK needing 18 to win in the last over, Ben Stokes bowled a above waist-height full-toss to Mitchell Santner which was initially dememd a no-ball by umpire Ulhas Gandhe.

However, the umpire later reversed his decision leaving Dhoni furious on the touchline as he walked back on the field to have a chat with the umpires and protest against the decision. While the decision was not changed, CSK went on to win the game.

Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant lost his cool and protested against a controversial no-ball call during his side's clash against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2022 on Friday. RR pacer Obed McCoy bowled an above waist-height full-toss to DC batter Rovman Powell in the last over of a tense run-chase which was adjudged a leagal delivery by the on-field umpire, leaving Pant and others in DC camp furious.

Pant was spotted asking his batters to leave the field in protest and later also sent DC's assistant coach Pravin Amre on the field to talk to the umpires.

Kohli had argued with umpire  Virender Sharma after few of his decisons were overturned by the third umpire on the day. Kohli was seen livid with Sharma after KKR batter Rahul Tripathi was adjudged not out by him on an LBW appeal before the decison was overturned by the third umpire.

Harbhajan had argued with the umpire after Deccan Chargers Kumar Sangakkara was clean bowled by Munaf Patel but the umpires thought the stumps lit through ricocheting from Mumbai wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik. Harbhajan was docked 25% of his match fee for his behaviour.
