'Laal Singh Chaddha', 'Liger', 'Bullet Train': Check out the dates of all big theatre releases of August

A new month is here along with a fresh batch of much-anticipated films, but it seems like August is particularly noteworthy for all of the cinegears out there. from Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddh' clash with Akshay Kumar's 'Rakshabandhan' or 'Liger.'

We have a lot of big releases this month, so we've put together a list of movies that will keep you entertained this month. 

Laal Singh Chaddha

After so many delays, Aamir Khan is all set to take us on a intriguing yet emotional journey of 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. The is all set for release this August in theatres. 

The heartwarming film is an official remake of the 1994 Hollywood title 'Forrest Gump' starring Tom Hanks. 

Directed by Advait Chandan, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh & Naga Chaitanya in the lead roles. 



Another power-packed punch to look out for from superstar Akshay Kumar is 'Rakshabandhan', set to hit theatres in August. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film fittingly celebrates the warmth and love of a brother-sister bond.

The film will clash with Aamir's 'Laal Singh Chaddha'.


Vijay Deverakonda look from Ligar

Vijay Deverakonda starrer 'Liger' is one of this year's most anticipated films. The pan-India project will take us on the wild journey of MMA fighter Liger played by Vijay. 

The film backed by Karan Johar's production company is directed by Puri Jagannadh and stars Bollywood Gen Z star Ananya Pandey, and renowned actress Ramya Krishnan, playing the mother of the lead character.

The film also marks the Indian debut of boxing legend Mike Tyson,



Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap's mysterious thriller 'Dobaaraa' will surely give a spine-chilling experience. The film, based on the Spanish thriller 'Mirage,' introduces audiences to the concept of time travel and a parallel universe.

Written by Nihit Bhave, the film follows the story of Antara, whose life has altered after she finds out about an old TV set, through which she time travels to save the life of Anay, who passed away 25 years earlier.

The film with so many twists and turns will keep the viewers hooked from the first frame of the film. 


Brad Pitt still from 'Bullet Train'

Brad Pitt is here to enthral all of us with his much-anticipated film Bullet Train'. 

The movie Based on the popular Japanese book Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka follows the story of five assassins on a high-speed train who realize their assigned targets are related, as per Variety. 

The film has bevvy of stars including Brad Pitt. Sandra Bullock, Joey King, Andrew Koji, Brian Tyree Henry, Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson among others.
