ISRO's Shubhanshu Shukla: Indian astronaut to conduct to conduct healthcare experiments in space

Axiom-4 mission launches on 10 june 2025 with astronauts from India, us, poland, and Hungary. ISRO’s Shubhanshu Shukla will pilot the craft and conduct Indian experiments. The mission focuses on space healthcare, global science, and student engagement.

Four astronauts, including ISRO’s Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, will travel to space on 10 June 2025. They will work together to carry out about 60 different science experiments during their mission.

Shubhanshu Shukla’s Role

Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is the mission pilot and will be the first Indian to pilot a spacecraft to the ISS. He will carry out seven Indian experiments, including stem cell and crop seed studies.
