IPL 2019: Players to watch out for in Qualifier 2 between Delhi and Chennai

Delhi will face Chennai in the Qualifier 2 of Indian Premier League 2019 in Visakhapatnam on Friday

Rishabh Pant

For Delhi, Rishabh Pant will play an important role in the crucial match against Chennai. In the Eliminator clash against Hyderabad, Pant was smashing the ball over the boundary ropes brilliantly.

The star player will be looking to capitalise on the not-so spin-friendly wicket in Visakhapatnam, as hitting sixes against pacers is his forte.

MS Dhoni

Captain cool has proven to be the game changer for Chennai this season as he has played several match-winning knocks throughout the season.

Whenever he has skipped a game, Chennai have run into trouble and ended up losing the match.

His heroics in the batting department have saved Chennai many a time.

Prithvi Shaw

Shaw, who was struggling to stay longer at the crease in recent times, found much-needed form against Hyderabad in the Eliminator.

He scored 56 runs off 38 balls.

He will look to carry forward the winning momentum in the crucial contest against Chennai.

Deepak Chahar

Chennai pacer Deepak Chahar will come into play in Visakhapatnam as it will be helpful to seamers instead of spinners.

He stood up and took the crucial wicket of Rohit Sharma in the powerplay in Qualifier 1, proving that he can be lethal at the start.

Amit Mishra

Veteran spinner Amit Mishra will be crucial for Delhi as he has been the second most successful bowler in drying up boundaries in this season.

He has conceded a boundary only after every 9.8 balls, which will be needed to restrict the heroics of MS Dhoni in the Qualifier.

Ambati Rayudu

Ambati Rayudu who helped steady Chennai's batting alongside Dhoni in the Qualifier 1, will be an important wicket for Delhi to take.

Rayudu will be key in constructing a big total for Chennai as Watson hasn't been in top form lately.
