Indian comedian Kapil Sharma and his controversies

Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma, who was once proud of his team strength, had fallen out of it after his brawl with his co-star Sunil Grover on a flight.

They were returning to Mumbai after a successful tour in Australia on Kapil Sharma Show. He had abused and hit Sunil Grover on an Air India flight.

Kapil Sharma walked towards Sunil, abused him and held him by his collar and raised his hand to him.

Sunil did not react to his action and kept mum. Kapil was drunk and called Sunil names like "Tu Mera Naukar Hai, tera show flop tha....". The result was that Sunil Grover walked out of 'The Kapil Sharma' show and they unfollowed each other on Twitter.

He sarcastically tweeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying “Yeh hain aapke achhe din ? @narendramodi (sic)” and “I am paying ₹15 cr income tax from last 5 years n still i have to pay ₹5 lacs bribe to BMC office for making my office @narendramodi (sic).”He tweeted about Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials for demanding a bribe of Rs 5 lakh for building an office.

It has been reported that Kapil Sharma misbehaves with his female co-stars. This happened during an event celebrating International Marathi Film Festival Awards in 2015. He allegedly behaved inappropriately with Monali Thakur, Tanishaa Mukherjee, and other female stars. He laughed it off and tweeted, "I fall, I rise, I make mistakes, I live, I learn, I've been hurt but I am alive.i am human, I am not perfect but I am thankful."

There have been rumors about Kapil Sharma being upset with Salman Khan as the latter choose to promote his film on the newly launched 'Comedy Nights Bachao' than choosing 'Comedy Nights with Kapil'.Later on when Kapil was asked who would he perfect replacement for his show, Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan, immediately he chose the former.

It was reported that all was not well between Priyanka Chopra and Kapil Sharma as she kept the latter waiting for a good three hours during an award function.

When Priyanka walked in and was still not ready, Kapil immediately unplugged his earpiece and threw it on the floor, grousing,"Ladies logon ka yehi problem hai, madam abhi tak tayaar nahin hain."

Although it might be a joke for him, it had sent out a wrong message to the fans.

In yet another incident, Kapil Sharma's joke did not well with women activists. They had raised their voice against him as he made fun of nation's potholes by saying that a woman could deliver while commuting on pothole roads. This made a woman activist lodge a complaint against him with Maharashtra State Women's Commission.

Kapil Sharma was accused of demanding too much money from an event organizing company for hosting a comic act for a festival in Uttar Pradesh. He charged 65 lakh as the fee for the show which didn't go well with the event organizers.
